About this ebook

Beginning nearly 4,000 years ago with Abraham and running through all the patriarches into the kings and on to the prophets, is a singular word with profound ramifications. Hesed or checed. On his way to Wyoming to to try to start his life over again, the author heard a song by Steven Curtis Chapman. From Steven's liner notes he discovered this word in Ps. 143 and then and there God began his startover. This word about covenant/ steadfast Love, especially when God links it with the Hebrew word for Truth, is wonderfully fulfilled in Jesus Christ. So now as time went on he began to see a very plain pathway through what was up ahead for America: a great repentance/revival or judgement and a very great destruction. This book is prickly and a bit rowdy, but it rings very true.

    PREFACE

In Northern New England when fall begins to color the leaves and winter storms are sure to follow, preparations need to be made. In God’s dealing with His people there are likewise changes of spiritual seasons under His direction. I’m setting down some markers which I believe will be very useful as our nation and quite possibly the world is enveloped in a great storm. Up here we call it a nor’easter. When the wind piles snow up high, we need something solid that rises above the drifts to get our bearings and stay on the path. God has placed in His Scriptures bold landmarks to help us stay on track in the simplicity of Christ. In a personal storm years ago, God brought to the fore such ancient landmarks (Prov. 28:22) for me to navigate by and get back on
