About this ebook

No matter what stage of your life you are in, there is a story inside of you waiting to be heard by others. You may think no one wants to listen or read yours, but there is always someone who can benefit from the spoken truth. The truth that is shared in this book changes only the names to protect the identity of the victims and the perpetrators. It is essential to me that I offer hope to the hopeless, faith to the doubtful, and God to the world. My journey through life is not one of privilege, yet it is a journey of hope. One ounce of hope is worth more than all the gold in Africa. My faith in an eternal relationship with Jesus Christ humbles me in a world filled with despair. I am a victor because I have a father who cares.

Born in a small town in northern Florida with eleven biological siblings, educated in a public school, born to read, born to lead. If I had one wish, I would wish love peace and happiness for the entire human race. I dream of a world where every child can grow and learn to his/her full potential. I dedicate this book to my sister who lost her battle with breast Cancer. I dedicate this book to the memory of my sister and brother who will not be here with me to read my book and in honor of both of them overcoming drug addiction and giving their lives back to Christ. They are my inspiration.

    My Daughter’s Thoughts

    and Feelings…

You know my daughter said to me, Ma, why do you preach on Facebook? She implied, no one has time to read all of that stuff. You, she said should start a blog. This is a young generation and we do not want to read all that stuff, mom. I replied, well daughter this is mom again, writing something that no one wants to read.

If one person reads the stuff that I write and it improves him/herself, then my writing is not in vain. This sermon deals with setting yourselves as children free from condemnation of sin! I read a letter from in touch ministries, it really touched me and I have to share it. God never intends for his children to live under a cloud of condemnation, the Pastor said. I agree that the main source of problems and people feeling inadequate derives from childhood experiences.

When God gives children to parents, he intends for the parents to represent the children to God by training the children in the way that they should grow and go. The first concept of anything a child learns is presented through the actions of a parent; a child constantly seeks to please the parent, thereby pleasing God if the parent is saved! Rejection and dereliction of duty by the parents will cause the child to feel condemned and to attempt to please the parents to their own hurt. If a parent is harsh and difficult to please, according to the article in the Pastor’s Heart and I agree, the children began to believe it is hopeless to try and measure up to the standards of the parents; thereby, believing the same of God. The child may say Why should I serve God when it is impossible to please him, anyway?

Losing hope of salvation through Jesus Christ leads to problems with children looking to soothe the pain with drugs, alcohol, and unhealthy, unholy behaviors. Satan is aware of this and he makes drugs, alcohol, promiscuity, and other sins appealing to the children. 1 John1:9 states, "If we confess our sins,
