About The Author

Rita Gail Myers Broussard was born on August 20, 1949 to Hazel & Oswald Myers as the second child of a family of eight in a strong catholic family. She was the apple of her mother and father's eyes. She had an older brother Terry who was almost two when she was born. The family grew over time and Gail was her Mom's righthand helping her with the family. Her brother Steve was born five years later, and fouryears after Kent was born, then one year after her only sister Tammy was born and then five years, later theyoungest of the family Craig was born. Gail was quite the helperin the family and groomed Tammy to take her place helping herMom, so when she fell in love and got married her Mom had some- one helping her. Terry was her caretaker during her teenage years and her Big Brother who made sure she stayed on the right path when it came to sprouting her wings of independence and finding that perfect person. And at the ripe age of sixteen in 1965, she met the love of her life Roy Broussard. They were married on July 2,1967. On April 12, 1978, she became a Born Again Christianafter a life altering experience. She didn't know it then but the years after were the beginning of Her Walk of Faith.
