Are there some things that you wished others would discuss?
Many times I have gone into the bookstore and have hoped that I would find a book that dealt with some of the tough things in life. I would find a few topics in a book, but many topics were not being discussed.
One day while I was at work one of my co-workers told me that she was writing a book about poems. I got so excited for her, but at the same time God began to stir up some things within me. He reminded me about the Spiritual Highlights that He had given me. The next time I saw my co-worker I told her about the Highlights and she encouraged me to get them published.
Spiritual Highlights for Our Souls is a book written for the unsaved and saved. It is a book that does not make you feel that you are unworthy of Gods love, but it makes you feel that His love is unconditional for you.
The Highlights covers many topics that most people think about, but chooses not to discuss. Some of the Highlights will make you cry, some will make you laugh and all of them will inspire you to tell Satan enough is enough.

Diane-Rainey McDaniel

Diane Rainey-McDaniel was born in Sarasota Florida. As a young child she attended church regularly, but she was not raised up in the church. When she was ten years old she moved to New York with her mother and siblings and at the age of fifteen she gave birth to her son (Tori Finley). Life as a young mother was not always easy, but considering the situation she put herself into it was fair. Even though Diane experimented with drugs all through high school, she still felt a desire to get a college education. In 1980 Diane graduated with an A.S. Degree in Liberals Arts from Nassau Community College; Garden City, New York. In 1983 she graduated with a B.S. degree in Social Welfare from Adelphi University in Garden City, New York. In 1992 Diane accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at Victory Christian Family Center in Sarasota, Florida. At Victory Christian Family Center Diane assisted with the children's ministry, greeting ministry, intercessory prayer and the jail house ministry. Also, during that time she would call into the radio ministry every Sunday with a spiritual highlight. In 1996 Diane got married and she is now a Social Worker at Springwood Care and Rehabilitation Center in Sarasota, Florida. At Springwood Diane leads a devotional service five days a week for the residents. When Diane was asked why she wanted to share the negative experiences about her life, she stated,“the negative experiences that we all have in life is part of our life's story. The experiences are not being told to exalt Satan, but they are being told to give glory to God”. It was God who delivered her and it is God who can deliver you. Diane believes Revelation 12:1 "And they overcome him by the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimonies, and they did not live their lives to death”.
