    CHAPTER 1

    The farmyard was thriving with activity and when Patsy the Pig gave birth to triplets, Farmer Fred and his wife Flo had the shock of their lives because the last piglet born had three eyes! They named her ‘Piggy 3 eyes’. She was adorable and from the moment she entered the world, everyone fell in love with her.

    Her sister Pinky and brother Rasher were jealous of 3 eyes because she was fussed by everyone. Patsy the mother also showed favour towards her and in time resentment from Pinky and Rasher grew into hatred. They both therefore decided to concoct a plan to get rid of their little sister. Of course it had to look like an accident so careful plotting was essential. They started to work out a precise plan where there would be no come back on them.

    The piglets were growing big and plump and lived a good life at ‘Darracott Park’ Farm. The farm had belonged to the Davey family for generations and Mr & Mrs Davey were wealthy farmers. They owned 60 acres of land, many fields and orchards. Their workforce were hard working men who were loyal to their employers because the farmers treated them with respect and looked after them. Many of them had been at the farm for numerous years. Fred and Flo had cows, pigs and chickens.

    CHAPTER 2

    The piglets were now 5 weeks old and their sow mum was still feeding them. They should be weaned soon – up to 8 weeks. They were very playful and 3 eyes liked her belly being rubbed. One farmhand Sally helped to look after them and the piglets adored her. She was present at their birth and as they saw her daily, they thought of her as a mum too.

    When they reach four months old Farmer Fred will consider selling them,
