My name is Vanesa Faure Im from New Orleans, La. I was born in the ninth ward districts. I was raised by a single parent. My mother struggled raising my sister and I. I was brought up in a santified church. I became a single parent of three by the age of twenty four. Times have always been hard. Through the up;s and downs of life. I received a twenty five year sentence at the age of twenty eight. My desire to become an author is a great ambition of mine. I want to take something good out a bad experience. I believe that my book exciting, fun and heartfelt. By reading my book you can actually feel what I, trying to put on there. Yet fictional, my book is yet believable. CHAPTER 1

Lucky

At the age of five, Lucky was being raised in an unstable household, with a drug addicive mother. That is strung out on crack cocaine.

Ms, Eve, who live across the streets in the trailer park. Takes Lucky under her wings and care for her the best as she could. One day, Lucky is repeatly rape by her mother (Sayna) tricks. This leads to Sayna arrest. Ms, Eve than goes on to take Lucky into her household with her three sons and her daughter Lacey. She raise her as one of her owns. Lucky finally finds happiness with her new family.

Then they get hit with the news, that she has a grandmother and father who live in Atlanta, Ga. And is on they way to get her.

Lucky’s world turns dark and uncertain all over again.

Unhappy and up-rooted, she begins to realize that her grandmother hate’s her as much as her mom does. Lucky begins to fight back, not allowing ever to let anyone hurt her again.

The worst challenge is still ahead of her!

Sanya hurry up and cook the damn shit up! What the fuck is taking your ass so long? Spook yelled from the bedroom. Girl! don’t fuck with me, I just burned my damn hand on this shit Sanya yelled back. Mom, I’m hungry! i want to eat, my stomach hurt. Lil Lucky stated standing next to her mom at the stove. Girl move, you know that I have to turn a trick before I can buy you something to eat. I will be so glad when you can turn tricks of your own. Go outside, until I call you. Sanya said turning back to the stove trying to rock up some cocaine. Lucky ran out of the front door and took a seat on the porch. (thinking) I’m not going to never eat, she alwaya says that and never go and get any food. Lucky got up and ran across the street almost getting hit by a car. She was going by her friend Lacey and Ms, Eve trailer house. Lucky knock on the door, and Ms, Eve answer it. Lucky, didn’t I tell you about running across that busy street by yourself. And this trailer park ain’t safe for little girls running around. Come yourself in here. I’m hungry was all Lucky said. Where is Sanya In the kitchen cooking up that white stuff. Thats a damn shame, She can cook up drugs but she can’t cook her child no food, go in there and play with Lacey until I cook yall something to eat. Roy that is not right how she does that child. I told you that you need to call them child protection people on her ass. She is going to wind up killing that baby over there. You can see that she don’t care about her. Luckt be outside all hours of the night. Sanya crackhead friends and tricks be running through there all day and night. I’m surprise that the police have not came through there yet. Mom, if it was not for you feeding that baby, I don’t think she would ever eat. Lord, I’m going to have to pray about this situation, I don’t how I could live with myself if something happen to that child. I know one thing Sanya is making the block hot for all of us, We have to much shit in the back to have the police snooping around, and with all that shit going on over there they are eventually going to come. Mom, the trailer is full of guns and drugs back there and Turk and them have not come pick up yet. Something is going to have to be done about her ass. John voice. "Well yall need to get thats up out of there. Because there nothing can be done about Sanya right now. I just wish that I could take the damn baby away from her ass. The child walk around here dirty and bare footed and hungry. this just don’t make no sense, I’m going to go through Lacey stuff today and see what I can find for her, that child need some shoes.

Ms, Eve said fixing they food. And even if you could mom. what the hell are you going to do with a black baby? Roy voice love her. I don’t see no color. All I see is a human being. A baby, and besides she is bi-racial. Half white and half black. You don’t see it in her eyes? Her eyes is gray. Either way mom. It would be hard for you to try and raise her. Roy said. Getting up from the table. "After they ate Ms, Eve told them to play in the back room for a little while and than she would walk Lucky back across the street Ms, Eve went into her room to read her bible.

Sanya house……………….

Across the streets Sanya, Spook and Lynn was in the back room smoking up some crack cocaine. Do yall know where I can sell a baby? I can’t take care of her. I can barely take care of myself. and I bet that I could get alot of money for her. blowing smoke out of her mouth. You should wait until she gets alittle older, and than you can let her turn your tricks and you can lay back and collect all of the money. I was going to let Bre and Jean turn tricks for me but the state took them before I could.’ Lynn expressed. I’m really thinking about it because the pussy isn’t selling like it used too. I probely could get rich off of her. Sanya was saying pulling off of the pipe. BOOM! What the fuck is that? Spook inquire getting up running to the window. Somebody ran over somebody out there! all of them running out side. Damn. where is Lucky? I told her ass to stay on the porch." Sanya said ruuning over to see what happen in the middle of the street. Somebody had run over some kid on a bike. he was laying on the ground, look like his leg was broke.

Lucky, Sanya was screaming now. She spotted her standing across the street in front of the trailer park. Walking over to Lucky and Ms, Eve. How many times have I told your ass to stay out of that trailer park. grabbing a hold of her arm, yanking her across the street Ain’t nothing going to happen to her over here. Now over there is another story, Ms, Eve was saying. You know what! your ass is always in somebody business. You need to get some business of your own. Sanya said jerking Lucky across the street. I need to whip your ass. Get in the damn house! and go to your room and don’t come out until I tell you. Snoop, run to the store and get some chips, candy bar and a soda for her ass. Sanya giving her five dollars. I’m going to go, but bitch don’t smoke all of the crack. And than again, I’m going to get my shit before I go to the damn store." Spook voiced running back into the room to get her pipe. Sanya slam the door to Lucky room. Luckt crawl in the bed and layed down. Two hours later spook came back and brought her the snacks. She open up the door and threw them on the bed and ran back out. Lucky got up and eat and felt back to sleep. Thouse was filthy with rats and roaches crawling all over the house, the bathroom and kitchen was the worst. it was not fit for a human being to be living in it. Sanya is from Atlanta, ga she was living there with her mom Kim and her Step dad rock. kim came home from work one day and caught Sanya and Rock having sex, She didn’t want to her nothing. she put 16 year old Sanya out of her house. not knowing that Sanya was pregnant with Rock with Rock baby. Sanya brought her a bus ticket to New Orleans, La and took to the streets working as a prostitute in the French Quarters. and she was doing real good for herself, she met a man name Richard that took her off of the streets and brought her a lil house on Derby Street. But what she did not know was Richard was a marry man and when his wife found out about Sanya, Richard had to leave her alone of lose his family. Sanya had just had Lucky a beautiful black curly head gray eyes baby. and she didn’t have no money to take care of them, so she went back to the streets working. Everything started to stress her out. the bills and the baby. So she hooked up with Spook and Lynn and they was making alot of moneym but Spook and Lynn did drugs, Which they turn on to Sanya. Sanya got hooked on the crack cocaine. She started spending the money that she was making on drugs and bird feeding the baby. In the midst of her getting high, her daughter was almost rape. So now she keeps her tricks from going in the back of the house, Life went from good to bad for her. But, these day, she forget that Lucky is even alive. Her drug habit has taken over her and her life

Ms, eve has three sons and a daughter. James, John, Roy and Lacey. her husband Bob got killed in a motorcycle accident. Eve family has aways been in the mototcycle gang call the LEGIONS. Which mean (Men who has many evil spirits in them.) They are into drugs. drug trafficking, prostitution, gambling, gun trafficking, The Legion’s has one of the biggest drug ring on the east side of New Orleans. James, john, Roy Rex, Bow, Turk, Randy, Samson, Hank, Dan, Dirk and Frank is Harley Davision riders. They travel all over the world to they different meth labs operations. and yet they are low key people. Ms, Eve holler from the kitchen. Lacey get the door. Standing on the door step was lucky. A great second installment to the series. Still the best portrayal of a crime family immersed in drugs and the glittery casino life I've read yet.
