    Dedications and Appreciations

This book is dedicated first and foremost to the persons who breathed a light into me and kept it lit as my guide; the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I dedicate this book also to the parents who were the vessel for that light.

I also want to show appreciation to all the friends and family who the Lord put in my life for a reason: K. Canty, Y. Richardson, L. Richardson, R. Ashby, E. Walker, N. McGuiness, J. Range, C. Miller, E. Adams, S. Romain, S.Ford, E. McMillan, S. Bryant, J. Rush and L. Hawthorne.

    Renaissance in the Light: Prologue

The book starts with a pealing back of one’s life to the bone and the dust; this is commonly known as testimony. Testimony is a great thing because it allows people to see themselves in you without the walls; it clears away all falsehood. And it ultimately encourages others that are walking toward that same destination; or those who are inquiring about it. Here we see the beginnings of the sanctification process in one’s life.

Now we find a man looking at himself and realizing that he can make a change in his life. If he can align himself with the One who cleans a person up on the inside. Once you realize who has authority and power all trials are able to be overcome.

As we walk through life the environment can seem lifeless at times; but, it’s really just the quality of our life that is lifeless for it has perished. And He and only He can pull it from the grave back to life again. But, this new life is no longer riddled with chains we can’t break out of. The new chains are the ones we place on ourselves. Only the Spirit within can discern a truth from a lie. The truth is many people will tell you an encouraging lie. But, few will tell you an edifying truth in this world.

There are so many intelligent people in this world, but very few people ask the questions that will enhance their relationship with the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Questions such as: Will this activity honor Him, magnify Him, or bring glory to Him? Is it profitable to my Christian life? Does this activity have the potential of enslaving me? Will it strengthen me against temptation? And ultimately is this activity indicative of God or the world? The Word is He that came and dwelt among us.

So if you have complete trust in Him then you can’t be led astray by strange doctrines or self serving people pontificating. Only the Spirit can discern Spiritual things. But, all of us have attempted to live our lives through a physical understanding of Spiritual things at one point or another. So we stumble until we can stand. Not on our legs but on the legs of the Wonderful Counselor.

The Lion of Judah has returned. However, when He arrives; I am alone in my works. The fruits of my labor are nothing more than just weeds. I started out into this world with the plan; reflective voices remind me that Jesus did indeed bring to my mother, one of his soldiers on April 20, 1977. It was 6 AM. 1 min earlier the corridors of the hospital were tentative white, upon one’s arrival they cry out in a dark mahogany. My internal stature was fully grown. What I meant to say was He that dwells in thee does not lack manhood. So today how does the Prince of darkness, the one embedded inside desolation reach my soul and quietly find his way to my will? When will the sun rise up a reflection of strength concerning mine soul? Mine movement will exceed
