INTRODUCTION

This book was written based on writer’s journey in searching for the light, which like everyone else, it full with tears and laughter; sadness and happiness; emptiness and loneliness that sometimes appeared and disappeared. The journey to the final destination and the life hereafter.

Everything happens for a reason, behind every reason there is a lesson, a lesson that will make us stronger and wiser. The experience she gained from those journey, she tried to put it in writing with the hope it would be useful to others who are also struggling with so many kind of hardships and also those who are trying to find the meaning of each trial that befallen us. When Allah wants well for us, He tests us with hardships. Each step in life we take will only make us stronger. Without pain, there is no strength. Allah knows what is good for us.

Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while such (trial) has not yet come to you as came to those who passed on before you? They were touched by poverty and hardship and were shaken until (even their) messenger and those who believed with him said, When is the help of Allah? Unquestionably, the help of Allah is near. – Al Baqara: 214

May Allah gives His blessing with this first book and Insha’Allah more will come in the future.

Suhaib reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

Wondrous is the affair of the believer for there is good for him in every matter and this is not the case with anyone except the believer. If he is happy, then he thanks Allah and thus there is good for him. If he is harmed, then he shows patience and thus there is good for him.

Mahmud ibn Labeed reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

If Allah loves a people, then he afflicts them with trials. Whoever is patient has the reward of patience, and whoever is impatient has the fault of impatience.

Source: Musnad Aḥmad 23122.

JULY, 11 - PARENTING

Yesterday she received a private message from a friend. Asking her to list down what would she change in the way she raise her child if giving another chance. Last night she was thinking about it, what she would change. She knows it’s not easy of being a parent, especially when you are alone to raise your child that is more challenging. But then, she talked to few friends with a complete and normal family, the challenges are all the same. Never easy especially in today’s world with all the changes in the environment socially.

This is what she will tell her dearest friend, she won’t change anything in the way she raised her child, but she would change her thinking and her attitude. Anyway she would still do the same thing; try and error, if this way doesn’t work, she will try another way, if that way also doesn’t work, and she would still try to find ways. But if everything doesn’t work, she will leave it to Allah. She had tried her best with her own capabilities, but didn’t work. What else can she do, but she will never give up, she will keep trying and pray that things would change and she believes Allah will help her through it.
