To all my Christian brothers and sisters, I believe that we are all keenly aware that we are living in the last days according to 2Timothy 3:1-9. With that in mind, we need to be about the business of making sure we are under the ark of safety and then trying to pull many others under the ark as well. We know that we can be called home any day, and Jesus could return any day as well. Either way, we need to be ready and not wait until we are face-to-face with our Savior before we start to think about our eternity.
Introduction
One early morning, God woke me, and I knew it was something serious because He was like that. When He needed to tell me something. He would always do it in the early morning to get my attention. He knew I was a knucklehead and not a morning person . . .
I didn’t know if it was in a vision or a dream, but at first, I started thinking about my mom and lamenting because I had lost the book . . . then God began to just pour into me the contents of this book. The vision was so clear that I didn’t need to write it down to remember it later that day. I didn’t know if it was all about regrets
or Him just telling me, Okay, stop whining, and I will give you another book.

May I Go Back?
This day started out as usual. I got up at about seven in the morning. My family was still asleep. I always got up before them to have my time of meditation before all the noise started. I started out with a prayer, sang a song if it was in my spirit, read a few scriptures starting with the Daily Bread, and ended with my daily Bible reading on my Bible app.
I loved reading from different sources to see how God always confirmed the Word He was giving me for the day. I loved starting my day this way because it always gave me a new perspective as I face a new day. I would always say, Lord, tell me what I am supposed to do today.
I loved to pray to God and then spend some quiet time, listening for what God has to say to me.
This morning, I felt a strong urge to include my family in my time of meditation but knew that I would have a hard time getting them up and engaging them in my meditation because they were always grumpy
in the morning, especially my husband got in late most nights and my son always found a reason to stay up so that he might get some time with his dad. Most nights though, he would fall asleep before his dad got home.
I resisted the urge and continued on with my prayer and meditation. For some reason, this morning, my mind would drift to certain of my family, friends, and coworkers. I just said a prayer for the ones that came to my mind. After my meditation, I started with shower and then started on breakfast. I proceeded to wake my son first because, for some reason, it always took about two times for me to get him up and finally to his dad.
For some reason, my son got up on my first call, and it took about two times for my husband. He really didn’t get up until our son went and jumped on him in the bed. He let out a growl but managed to roll over and wrestle with him for a few minutes. They then got up, and the noise started.
Mom, where is my blue tennis shoes?
Honey, I need my shirt ironed, please.
It was his fault for not putting his shirts in the cleaners as normal. I guessed he was too busy working. To avoid an argument, I just brought the ironing board in the kitchen and then finished my breakfast. I still said we needed a maid, but my husband would always look at me sideways and ask me if I remember where I came from.
We don’t need a maid, honey. They are for rich, lazy people.
We have the lazy covered,
I would shoot back at him.
Well, let’s work on the lazy then we won’t have to worry about being rich,
he would always say with a crazy grin on his face.
Lord, why did I get married? I was living the good single life when I met my husband and just thought I had to make this one work. I needed to give God a little help because He was taking too long and my clock was ticking away. I didn’t listen to those old church mothers who would say, Baby, just wait on the Lord.
What did they know? I was the kind of person who made things happen.
