Dr. Leon W. Livingston, PhD

Dr. Livingston is a native of Jamaica, the island paradise in the Caribbean. He attended the College of Agriculture, Science and Education, the Berkeley Institute of Marketing through the University of Technology in Jamaica. Dr. Livingston has numerous postgraduate courses through the FDA’s ORAU, and the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets, where he is currently employed. His latest achievement is the doctoral degree of Doctor of Divinity from Trinity Theological Seminary. He is married to Andrea and is the father of three sons. He is an ordained minister who has functioned at various times in the youth departments and as church treasurer.

    FOREWORD

    Dr. Leon W. Livingston was born in the Parish of Manchester in the island paradise of Jamaica in the Caribbean. At age seven he attended the Woodlands All Age School, where he sometimes led his classmates through the lessons.

    At the age of twelve he obtained two scholarships to two different high schools, the Knockalva High School in the Parish of Hanover, and to the Manchester High School. Through the instrumentality of his favourite teacher, Mrs. Pearl Bucknor, he chose Knockalva.

    Leon later attended the College of Agriculture, Science and Education; the University of Technology where he completed a three year programme offered by the Institute of Marketing in London, England. He succeeded at numerous career oriented colleges at State and Federal levels. His latest achievement was obtaining the highest Theological Doctorate, Doctor of Divinity, from The Trinity Theological Seminary, in the State of New York. Dr. Livingston has been ordained a minister twice and currently holds that title, more specifically, with
