About this ebook
Bluz Streetz
I’ve been addicted to many things in life and convicted by a few, so this is my story. I was an army brat. I’ve moved around the world, seen many things, since young years old, came to a point in my life when the streets grabbed me, I fell into the pit of the black hole and got emerged inside it. This book is to let people know that they are not alone. We all go through struggles in life at different times and different ways but it’s all the same. I’m gonna tell you my story; I’ve had lost loves, street dreams, I found redemption, so now I write for all you to read and understand that I’m a thug living, poetry loving, literature writing, underground poet, that no one knows; they call me Bluz Streetz for a reason, because I write the bluz, so you don’t have to feel alone on these streetz locked within the bluz. I hope that I can save you through my words. These are eyes that seen it all. I am a life writing underground poet that no one knows. Joseph DC Bryant was born in Atlantic City, NJ and raised all over the world from Germany to The Nederland’s to Seattle, Wa to Fairbanks, Alaska and currently resides in Queens, NY.

Still I Stand
This is dedicated to my family and friends that stuck with me through all my struggles.
And to those that are still in the struggle keep your head up and know we can still stand tall.
I am a River,
That flows so deep…
My pain runs over,
Floods the streets…
A stream of hate,
This created…
It adds to my sorrows,
Plans my fate…
Leaves my water cloud…
Drowns my dreams…
I am a river…
As deep as it seems…
Today I see! Yesterday I saw!
Today I see,
Wilted grass blades,
Muddy ground,
Rusty leaves scattered round…
Barren trees,
Absent of leaves;
As lonely nest break in
The autumn breeze…
Yesterday I saw, wilted men,
Filthy ground; coke bags,
Hypes scattered round…
Barren streets absent of life…
Lonely hearts,
From broken-homes,
D.O.A’s set the sound;
As an autumn night settles down…
You Are Love
You define beauty in everyway
Our love is defined by TRUE
Us is defined by complete
Age is defined by years together
Real is defined by what we see in each other
Ecstasy is defined by the feelings we share
Love is defined by you
Obstacles are defined by our struggle
Vows are defined by our promise
Endless is defined by our love
Muddy world
Muddy puddles from rain drops,
Make ripples from waves,
Where water bugs ski…
Muddy grounds where people walk,
Make impressions as footprints talk,
Where children make mud pies…
Muddy waters where tears drop,
Make rivers of emotions,
Where love makes sparks…
Muddy blood from poisoned streets,
Make tainted clouds rain,
Where your mind speaks…
Muddy puddles in muddy
