Same could have been said for any average Russian. I moved to U.S when I was 12, expecting to become an Indian dancer (dream I still haven’t quite thrown out of the system). I got my degree from University of Maryland College Park in Mathematics and Russian Literature and soon after decided to get a degree in Secondary education from George Washington University. Writing to me is communication with unknown reader, my grandmothers used to say if you upset about something write it on the piece of paper and throw it in a toilet, I never had enough heart to throw my work in toilet. So after years of collecting my poetry in blogs and other means of preservation I deiced to publish it.
