    A Word of Thanks

My poems are just a reflection of different faces of Life and the living. Some speak of sadness; some live through hope and joy… .

Through my first book, I offer my gratitude to all those people have who inspired me to write them and, to those who shared pieces of their life with me upon which I could muse and compose. My love to all my readers, both known and unknown to me for reading my poems throughout these years, caring to look up for me and expressing their views and giving a word of encouragement.

This book is a collection of some of my poems since several years. I hope that it refreshes different hues of your mind and touches some fragment of your heart… your imagination… . your life… . like it has mine.

My heartfelt thanks to San, all my friends, other lovely readers (like Das aunty, Sailen da, Dimpi and so many others) and The Assam Tribune (amongst others) for publishing many of my poems year after year and also to Mr. Noel Manuel, former president of Poetry Society NE region.

I am grateful to Joe, Rommel and the whole team of Partridge Publications, for all the support, help and advice.
