Cindy has been most inspired by the artwork of Dr. Seuss. Her doodles also can be found on her ties and other items that she creates on Zazzle.com. One of Cindy’s unique clay beads was featured in Simply Beads magazine incorporated with Wendy’s jewelry design. Cindy opened her shops, called PotteryGod, on Etsy.com and Zazzle.com in 2006. Find her work on www.potterygod.etsy.com, on Zazzle.com under Potterygod, and on her blog http://potterygod.blogspot.com. Wendy Bialek, a Chicago-area native, is an artist, jewelry designer, staging consultant, inventor, and mom. Wendy lives with her husband, Lee, and teenage son, Zachary. Wendy’s jewelry has been described as “organic and perfectly color coordinated.” Wendy’s work has been featured in Simply Beads Magazine and also has written a how-to article in BeadStyle magazine. You can find Wendy’s shop on Etsy.com called LOL2, which stands for Love Out Loud 2. Wendy sells her doodles, jewelry, and woodwork in her shop. She finds inspiration everywhere, especially from other artists, her son, and her sister, Cindy, the co-author of this book. Wendy became hooked on doodling and has been delving into Zen-tangle-like doodling for relaxation and fun. “It is so deliberate yet free, and anything goes!” according to Wendy. This is why she loves it so much! Visit her site, and see what Wendy has been up to! For more information, see Wendy’s website: www.lol2.etsy.com.

Introduction
image1.tifLaunch Your Art
If you are reading this book, you may have filled up notebooks full of doodles and thought, What am I going to do with all these cool designs?
Somehow, your gorgeous images have to escape the notebook and become something more! You had some ideas like: give away framed pictures and make some homemade greeting cards for your family and friends. Maybe your designs are famous on Pinterest? Maybe you sold some art cards on Etsy?
This book is about stretching the boundaries of your imagination! Why not get your drawings out of your notebook and onto T-shirts, ties, watches, jewelry, purses, pillows, furniture and other interesting art and decor projects? The ideas presented in this book will launch your 2D doodles into a 3D world.
Doodle Styles
We love all doodles! We love the vivid contrast of the black & white abstract images and we love the multi-colored doodles as well. Some people love to doodle animals, people and other everyday objects.
