    INTRODUCTION

    ST001.tif

Hi, my name is Roxanne Fisher (aka Roxy) and I have been in the crafting game for over 25 years now.

From my humble beginnings of cottage crafts and sewing, then moving onto card making and scrapbooking, I have experienced and taught quite a lot of crafts.

From 2010 to 2017, I was a Director of a Scrapbooking consultancy company where I regularly trained consultants in different levels of techniques and products.

I started Papercraft Central because I want to share my experience and skill with crafters – I love training and teaching clients and hope you will enjoy the modules I have created.

Papercraft Central is all about learning new techniques and advancing your skills so you can enjoy your craft more, get more experience using the same products, get more use out of your products, have a varied style to your projects and keeping costs down on your craft.

My Tutorials do not focus on any particular craft but on the technique, so if you are into card making, scrapbooking, multi-media or other crafts, you can apply these techniques to your chosen field.

As you progress through the book, you will find techniques not necessarily harder or more difficult but more time being spent on the technique to enhance your embellishment.

This module revolves around stencils using different mediums to create a variety of results allowing you to get the most out of your stencil.

Later in the book, I have shown you how to create your own stencils, including using punches, dies and electronic cutting machines – a great save!

I have covered techniques from basic right through to more advanced, but ‘basic’ doesn’t mean it is just for beginners, nor does it mean boring. I use a variety of different consumables on the one product range so for instance, in my Stencilling Module, I am using over 20 different products to show different effects but I will also be using different tools, which will give you more options for your project.

Practice is the one key element to any new learning, the more you practice, the more developed and enhanced your skills will become.

The products I use in all my modules are my personal choice and are not sponsored by that Company, nor do I receive any commission for using them. I do however, give you a link to their websites, where possible, in case you want to purchase or peruse their products.

There are five brands of stencils that I will be using throughout this module and can be sourced
