Materials: Pilot Pen Frixion Colors and Permaball pens, Sellotape double-sided tape, sticky tape, label tape, Sticky Dots and hooks and loops, Westcott titanium-bonded scissors, pinking scissors and utility knife; BoBunny journal; Paper – BoBunny, Pink Paislee, October Afternoon; Embellishments – Studio Calico sequins, bow and printables, October Afternoon journal cards and flags, 2Crafty chipboard, Crate Paper vellum, Cosmo Cricket stickers, Maya Road ribbon, Flourish with a Bling pearls, Jenni Bowlin Studio stencil, gesso, texture paste.

IDEAS:

– I practised writing my quote on scrap paper first until I was happy it would fit nicely. Then I traced it onto the cover using a black Pilot Permaball pen for the outline and coloured it with Pilot Frixion coloured markers.

– I painted over my plain kraft cover with gesso, which is the perfect base and gives a bright white surface for the pens and markers to draw on.
