Aside from fruit and vegetables, all you need is an oven, a baking tray, baking paper, a baking rack and a mortar and pestle (or coffee grinder); items you most likely already have in your kitchen.

Common sense tells us that the thinner the produce we are dehydrating, the quicker it will dehydrate. Accordingly, for the most part, you will need to cut your fruit and vegetables into very fine slices. I used a mandolin (and my husband!) when doing mine.
