L ove, The four letter word that cripple's us all throughout our lives. Even when you are trying to be the responsible one. Is it really deep enough to make someone kill? How bad does a relationship have to be? Just trying to stay up, you keep tripping and falling. Your mind is all messed up, but your heart keeps calling. This is the story of a really bad relationship. My son and his wife that is not his baby momma
. So he's torn between the love of his new born son and the woman he loves. I can honestly say. That I love my children, no matter what. I will be by their side. Because in this small town just outside of Iowa, it was everyman for himself. If your skin was the wrong color it was like you didn't even live in Clarksville. Which means my son was fighting against all the whites. My powers are useless so on my knees in prayer is my only hope. I know that nothing is too big for God.
Chapter-1
L et me try to start at the beginning. December 2 nd a child is born. We were called to the hospital to see him by his mother who had told us about 7 months ago that she was not sure who the father is, my son or the guy sitting next to her bed.
I arrived at the hospital before my son. Once I saw him it did not matter to me who the father was, he was sleeping like an angle. She once again told me that my son may not be the farther, but then she said when I first laid eyes on the baby I knew that he was your son's and not the guy sitting next to me. She then told me that she had told the guy sitting next to her the same thing. But still he stayed, which was okay, father or not he was her so call man. She then said to me look at him, he looks like your son. She asks if my son was coming to the hospital to see the baby. And I told her that he was on the way. He had a much longer ride than I did, he was coming from the other side of Clarksville, where he lived with his wife and her 3 year old son that he was not the father, but he called him dad. Once he entered the room he did not acknowledge the man next to the bed. He spoke to the baby mamma, he asks her if she was okay, and what time was the baby born. She said she was good and told him what time she had the baby. She told him that she was proud of herself for hanging in there. My son Tyler took the little hat off his head and unwrapped the blanket that the hospital had him wrapped in. he checked toes and fingers. Woke him up by picking him up looking at him saying hey little man you made it. Baby momma said to my son he looks like you. My son looks at me and says what do you think, I smiled and I said to both of them we would like to know for sure so why don't we get a paternity test done. I will pay for it this way we will know. They both agreed and then I ask the guy sitting next to the bed, and he said okay. We requested information from the nurse and she gave us two places that we could drive to and they both were a 45-minute drive from the hospital. Then she gave us one more and said that it could be sent through the mail and would take 10 days to get the results. So I called and I was told that when I paid for the kit it would come to me my FedEx. I gave the guy on the phone my information. When the kit came I called Tyler and he picked up Sue Ann and little Tyson and came to my house. I had been given the instructions over the phone how to use the swabs for all three of them. And that once the results came it would tell me things that he got from her jean and things that he got from my son, in numbers. And that at the bottom it would say 99.999999% the father or the same if not the father. We need the swabs for all of them. Tyson did not cry when his dad swabbed the inside of his mouth.
In a few days the results came to me by email. It said that my son was the father. I knew that Tyler was ready for the results, when I told him he was, he said Thank you thank you, but I knew when I first saw him at the hospital. He said that he wanted a copy of the results. Then he asks me if I had called Sue Ann and I told her. I told him no, so he said that he would do it.
Well we all knew that his wife Betty Lin back on the farm was not going to be happy. Betty Lin got so much joy out of telling me an d him that Sue Ann slept around with so many guys. That the chances of Tyler being the father were very slim. So to her Tyler would not be the father. No matter what the test said. But she still tried to put up the front for a few days anyway. Tyler started calling wanting to know when he could get to see baby Tyson or at least pick him up. It's the same story, that it has been for years, baby momma does not want her baby around my son's wife, so she calls me to let me know that she did not want her baby over to my son's wife house. She stated that she did not care if my son saw the baby at my house. She told me that she had just got off the phone with a shouting match between my son and his wife in the background yelling all kind of things to her, like it's his Dam baby and he has a right to pick him up and bring him to his own house, to spend the night. Sue Ann had no idea what kind of family Tyler had married into but I did. Tyler had dated her a couple of years before. Even then it ended in a bad way. The cops were called that last night that he was there. Back then Tyler had his own apartment in the small town that only had a Walmart and a Kroger. Beside that there were 2 warehouse job's that one might get if they knew the right people. Betty Lin was so in love with Tyler let her tell it. So in love that she would ask her father who ran one of the warehouses, to give Tyler a job there. He did and put Tyler on the grave yard shift. Tyler took the job because it was near the apartment that he was renting. Betty Lin and her son moved in right after the wedding. and because he felt that he was in good hands with her family. The town was so small and it seemed like Betty Lin Father and the cops ran it all. He spent more time at the police station than he did at home. Tyler said that on his shift all the loader and unloader were black, with 2 big red neck guys as supervisors. One Mexican girl in the office that was supposed to be entering in the invoices. The thing about that, she barely knew any English at all. When Tyler got home from work in the mornings, Betty Lin wanted him to spend an hour in a half telling her that she was beautiful. Then maybe he could sleep for a little while before she would want him to get up and spend time with her and her son. That Tyler was not the father of. I knew it was just a matter of time before Tyler couldn't take anymore. You can only push a man so far. For her to monitor all his time, if she was not with him she would call him every hour to make sure where he was. He told me all he did was went to work and home. He told me that things were not going well at home everything started an argument he finally told her that he was tired of her waking him up just to sit and talk to her or play with her son. He told her that he was going to make some arrangements to see his son and that he did not care what she say.
He told her that he was going to leave work or whatever time baby mamma said he was going to see his son. Betty Lin ask my son so what I'm I suppose to do while you over there with that bitch. Oh I don't know why don't you knit or something. When Tyler returned home from seeing his son she had the change on the front door locked, he could not get in, so he called her name and said open the door she told him when you get in don't try to talk to me or even touch me. Once she opens the door he went in took a shower and went straight to bed did not say a word to her. she had called him about 30 times when he left and he only answered once and told her do not keep calling me trying to start an argument I don't have time, whatever you want to say you can say it when I get back home. and for some reason after that his work load got heavier and heavier at work. Tyler knew that it was her and her father doing, even though her dad was over the other warehouse his best friend was over the one he worked at. And he was being told to do things that he did not usually do. He did not think much about it until one morning when he got home a little early, he heard Betty Lin on the phone saying that she wanted her dad and his boys to mess somebody up really bad. Then she said that would show the mother fucker that she is in charge of the marriage. She then mentions that she was going to put something in the food to make him act a little stupid or something. When Tyler heard that he knew that whatever they were working on was for him. He went back to his car and called me. I could hear the tension in his voice. He started by telling me about how things had changed
