The book is about all kinds of Poetry that uplifts and encourages. Rap is a form of Poetry, it catches the ear. Children have learned faster if they hear it in a Rap Form. I've heard people learn all kinds of recitations when put in a Poetry form. My book shows another way of looking at things, and being hopeful while you wait. It throws a little Faith in and let you know that No one is Perfect. It gives a Hope in God, or a Peace in a greater power.

As a little girl, I always liked poetry, or anything that rhymed. When I would hear nursery rhymes, I would think, "I can do that," but in reality, my father was a writer and he wrote Beautiful Articles in the Philadelphia, Daily News paper, Ben Burrough section, weekly. Writing turned out to be a Family Trait, because my brother wrote some of the lyrics for the 50's group Lee Andrews and the Hearts. So, the writing, I inherited from my Dad, but the Inspiration, I inherited from my Mother. She was always saying wise and inspirational things that stuck with me all through my life. As I became an adult, I began writing poetry for family and friends, and the more I wrote it, the more people wanted it. For years people encouraged me to write a book of poetry, but I'd just shove it off. I would just submit poems to different Poetry sites and got a couple of Honorable Mentions and was Published in 4 books. As I wrote funny and relationship poetry, there was something missing to me. I felt the world had enough funny, crazy, insensitive things going on in it. I wanted to touch the hurting, lonely, hopeful and show some Inspiration to an already unloving world. So, that's when I started feeling, and my heart led me to write ONLY Spiritual and Uplifting words of Encouragement and Hope. So, Yes, I believe, what the World Needs Now is LOVE, Sweet LOVE. So, 40 years later, here I go, finally fulfilling my God Given Purpose, to reach out to those who need INSPIRATION, Encouragement, and Hope, with Love.
