About this ebook

"Progress" is the story of my life. I'm always very happy and doing the best I can for my life, my family, and friends. I have grown up since I was in my teens caring for everyone to feel happy and safe, especially my daughters, Lisa Lienhard and Theresa Gerson Gardella, and my stepsons, Bobby, Gregg, and David, when I was doing a lot of things during my life with my husband. This also gave me an inspiration to save peoples lives by painting the World Trade Center and donating lots of money to the disabled and the poor. I always have faith in myself to continue to live after I had a heart valve replacement in 2009.

In a vivid story of breathtaking scope, I have once again surpassed myself in creating an unforgettable tale of my whole family and friends caught in the tides of personal drama and historic event. I know that this book that I wrote is the finest journey of my life. I have also found a place for myself in the hearts of every person I know. I've had and still have a great life for forty-one years with old rules of love and marriage. That will never change. Love is something that I have chosen to enjoy for the rest of my life.

I was born on April 20, 1945 in New York City, 138 Street on Broadway with a twin sister named Norma. I had a brother named Tony and my parents are from Puerto Rico. Their names were Marta & Antonio Seda. When I turned 9 yrs old, I had Rhuematic Fever. The decease was severed & I had to go to the hospital for 2 months. I was treated with lots of medications for 11 years. At the age of 12 I danced ballet for 6 years & I was chosen to dance on the T.V. show called Ted Macks, but my father refused because I had a heart Murmur. After that at the age of 12, 1957, I started to paint oil. My 1st painting was a horse & I still have it. I sold the 2nd horse painting in 2015.

When I was 16 yrs old I met my first boyfriend Rafael Ramirez. He was 14 yrs old & he was very tall. He looked a lot like Superman George Reeves We were so in love w/each other for 4 yrs. But before I turned 20 I left him. I worked for The Chase Manhattan Bank. I decided at the age of 20, I also left the bank & went on a trip to Puerto Rico for a month. That was my first time there. I went to visit my cousin Margie & her husband Anthony for a month. In the meantime, they introduced me to a nice guy. My birthday was April 20 at that time & I turned 21. He didn't have a car so I gave him $500 to buy a car. He drove me all over the Island. We had a great time. He wanted me to stay in Puerto Rico & marry him. I said no because I live in New York. I left him forever. He was such a nice guy. In the meantime, my first boyfriend, Rafail Ramirez in 1961 at my parents house when I returned, I told him that I didn't want to date him anymore. He almost committed suicide, but his parents saved his life. He really loved me, but two(2) years later he got married to a woman that looked almost like
