I have had the urge to write this book for some time. So ready or not here it goes… My life started way back in 1927. I was born on March 29, 1927 in Somerville, Massachusetts (Boston area). I joined my father Ed Rice, mother Cecyle Pearl Warren Rice, my brother Edward Rice, and sister Leah (Lee).
Of course I don’t remember much about this area. I understand we only lived about two years in Boston. The depression was upon us, so my father moved the family to Springfield, Vermont. We lived with my mother’s parents, my grandfather Carl Warren, and my grandmother Oleo Warren. I think a lot of the time us kids got on my grandparents nerves, all living in the same house! We all know children will be children, but eventually we all grow out of things that make older people crazy.
