41740.jpgDesire, such a beguiling word, almost a phrase unto itself. What comes to mind are the more mundane wishes, leading to a sensual state of mind. Such would adequately describe my intentions, and you will find them in the upcoming pages. Nothing radical, or unusual, but, an unrestricted, vocalization of my thoughts, hopes, and eventually, my desires. I hope everyone will find the words to tell your significant other, how you feel, and if love is a reality for you, then I wish you well.
Springtime
Raindrops and snowflakes still cover the ground.
Beware of the sidewalk, where some ice can be found.
Each morning I feel the sun shining on me.
The calendar extolls the survival of trees.
The temperatures rise, and tomorrow will bring,
A seasonal change, the beginning of spring.
The trees and the bushes have sprouted new leaves,
And not far away, baby birds are conceived.
The colors are changing from dullest to fair,
The sounds of illusions are tossed in the air.
The horses and cattle are out in the field,
And some younger faces will soon be revealed.
We wander together, with the sun on our skin,
The calendar demands, when will summer begin?
Hold on a moment, you're moving too fast,
Let's enjoy the spring, how long can it last?
I woke up this morning, expecting the cold,
But the way that I feel, it will never get old.
A ration of springtime, a new summer and then,
Let's repeat them all over and over again.
I don't like the winter, yes, maybe the fall,
I'll endure the hot summer, but the best of them all,
Give me the springtime, with emotions sincere,
The spring will remain the best time of the year.
Heart and Soul
The heart is such a vital organ, in quest of the embryonic version of the living soul. When you deal with self denial, what is left for your tomorrows? I can't, I won't, such foolishness. I will, I'll try, now that's more like it. You meet someone, an instantanious attraction ensues. The next step forward is totally up to you. The data you receive, and input into your mind, is only a portion of reality. What precedence would you prefer, the mind, or the heart? Now, don't be shy, honesty will always prevail. In my case, as with the majority of humanity, the heart will rule most of the time. Those who seek a financial means for moving forward, are in the vanguard of lost souls, and destiny would predict a futile state of affairs, where no one really wants to be. An environment devoid of laughter, and romance, how boring, how insane. Having traveled down both of these paths, I can, with little to no denial say, I want to laugh. I want to cry. I want to live for the love of someone else. loneliness is an ailment, an infallible means of self destruction. Break my heart, and I will live painfully. Destroy my soul, and all is lost. I don't believe in a middle ground, a sometimes state of affairs. Either you give your heart away, or you find some lame excuses to mediate, and demonstrate, the power and magic that eludes your living soul.
Now me, I would rather love and lose, than not take a chance, not show the world how you feel. The only resolution I can see, for any of us, is time. Time to think about it. Time to heal a broken heart. Time to find somebody else. It just takes some time.
In the meantime, there is so much left to do. You could build a house, buy a car, take a trip, or maybe you should simply pray to God, to lift your soul, and heal your heart Isn't that what we are supposed to do? Who we are supposed to be? Well, I don't know about you, but, after a while of living alone, and perhaps seeking some answers unbeknownst by the localpriest, I find the journey has just begun, and a forfeiture is not acceptable, not now, not ever. I will never give up! My heart demands a continuation of lifes insufferable search, and I will, yes, I know I can, I must. My broken heart will heal, in time. But my soul, and the perilous journey it has taken, will not be denied. Here's the thing that compels me on this dusty road, you, and you alone, define my heart and soul. The passion I feel deep inside of me, is for you. My love grows ever stronger, and must be revealed. If there is the slightest chance you feel the way I do, then all is forgiven, and hope survives. Take a chance, a chance on me, and nothing is impossible, even improbable as it may seem. My heart is yours, and yours alone. You hold the key to unlock my soul, and set it free. In time I hope you see the truth, and come home to me for now, and all eternity.
A Lovers Glance
Love is quite mysterious, sometimes it fills me with dismay,
You spin the wheel, and take a chance, you dare not turn away.
Persistence is a part of me, longevity is not.
I guess I should be grateful for everything I've got.
You take the chance, a lovers glance, and gaze into her eyes.
A heart attack, she's looking back, it comes as some surprise.
Your mouth is now disfunctional, your mind is running wild,
She's coming ever closer to a heart that's so beguiled.
What do you say to someone who's the one you've always wanted?
Make no mistake
