INTRODUCTION
I was so happy when I found out that Edith was writing a book to address overcoming emotional scars from the past and how to face challenges in life. I am always saddened when I hear about people who avoid turning to Jesus because the enemy has lied to them and tried to convince them that they are not worthy of redemption. The enemy tries to break people down with abuse and pain. He tries to make them think that there is something wrong with them, that they are too dirty or broken to be the type of shiny, happy, perfect people that they think go to church. They believe that God is disappointed or disgusted with them, and that they have no chance to become one of His beloved sons or daughters. The devil is a liar indeed, and this book proves that no one is too far from God’s healing hand. This book also addresses the fact that when a person finally does find the courage to dedicate their lives to Jesus, their life is not going to be a carefree walk in the park. In fact, they may suddenly be bombarded with trials, persecution, and challenges that they didn’t face when they were not Christian because now the enemy is angry that he has lost a soul, and turns to attack them with vengeance. This book explains the different types of situations that we face in life. Edith has chosen to distinguish them as different types of lights

We should instead take the time to evaluate the situation and try to understand what lesson or test God is putting before us. We should pray and submit ourselves to His will and know the simple teachings that
