A Vision of Potentiality to Reality

I would first like to

acknowledge the unusual honor of being awarded a PhD in integrative medicine at IQUIM before writing up my thesis as recognition of my work.

Paul Drouin, MD, president of IQUIM, has kindly opened up an amazing opportunity to present this work as a body of knowledge with respect to the focusing of light—not only on the visual system but also on the body physiologically, psychologically, and even consciously.

It is with great thanks that I present this work to him and the IQUIM ohana (family) with the hope that it may be a contribution to IQUIM’s growth, dynamic, and influence on health-directed care worldwide.

I would also like to thank Jacob Liberman, OD, a true visionary and friend in the optometry world, who originally sent me the link to IQUIM and its possibilities in early 2012.

My wife, Kim, has been an absolute confidante, supporting me through thick and thin in all my pursuits. Her love and direct, constructive commentary have helped me be who I am and do what I do today.

To my daughter, Amy, who, as a fifteen-year-old, has such a joie de vivre—always amused at the dynamics of my work. As I observe her, she has constantly reminded me to be childlike in all my endeavors. She recently called me an energy master. All I know is that she has plenty of energy!

My patients have been a wonderful gift and have trusted me in my development. Without them, this work would not be a reality today. I thank them most gratefully. They are my co-discoverers.

Foreword

A new paradigm shift is occurring in modern medicine, based on the premise of looking at reality from the point of view of quantum physics, which opens up infinite possibilities for healing. This new information is generating a broader model of understanding, which allows us to incorporate new technology that requires an acknowledgment of subtle energies and a new perspective encompassing the linear models of biology, chemistry, most of the fields conventional medicine, and certainly optometry, as you will discover through the original research of Dr. Michael Christian. Dr. Christian’s research is on the path to the most important discovery in the field of optometry of the coming decade. The way he is incorporating the principles of quantum physics into what will be the new optometry is absolutely original and impressive.

Essentially, Quantum Physics is a new way of looking at the world which has to do with your experience of the fabric of reality. Who would have thought that you could use your experience of reality as a tool to heal from personal trauma or physical disease, which were originally generating distortions in your field of perception.

In conventional medicine, we are accustomed to symptomatic treatments, as in optometry we are used to using crutches to correct an altered field of vision. When we shift our perspective from linear to multidimensional, we are creating new opportunities to address the cause of the problem.

Quantum University is very honored to have been a trigger for Dr. Christian’s genius and for what will soon be one of the most revolutionary contributions in the field of optometry offered to humanity through his solution for healing: QUANTUM OPHTHALMIC OPTICS (QOO).

Abstract: The Quant-Essence

Quantum ophthalmic optics (QOO) is a presentation of quantum holography or possibility coherence (of seemingly disparate variables), using ophthalmic lens and prism in dynamic flow and discontinuous leap for the focusing, refocusing, and improvement of the visual system. Its effects are not only local but also non-local in activation, integration, and motivation (AIM) for the extension of focus ability with interconnected physiology.

The creation of this methodology allows for not only quantitative and qualitative improved vision over successive facilitations or iterations at the local level but also integrative effects non-locally on the morphogenetic (vital), mental, supramental, and quantum field (bliss) bodies. This enables coherent focusing entanglement to see well, feel well, and do well through biophotonic modulation. The modulation of time and space is at the core of this process. Ophthalmic prism can be used as a phase-flow modulator and spatial-stillness realigner to affect the timing and presence (positioning) of light interfacing with the body in a coherent time–space context.

A new model of the quantum holoplane, or quanstruct, based on Renee Descartes’ Cartesian plane/Moebius strip, allows for the retiming and re-spatialising and, hence, refocusing of being (timing) and doing (spatial dynamics) in complementarity. A new concept of holokinesis is introduced, namely the coherent interface of stillness and movement in quantum subspace and its application. Practical, nondeterministic protocols are presented, such as VSR (visuo-somatic realignment) for realigning the physical body and VPK (visuo-psy-kinetics) for the mind, that the coherence of newness (quantum collapse) or the surprise of quantum certainty, namely time–space coherence or purpose, manifest. Case histories of various patients with visual and/or systemic issues are presented and discussed. The emphasis of facilitating what is right and its easefulness are considered. The work then contemplates its implications and future ramifications on an extended view of visual consciousness and its future genesis.

Background

I have recently completed an extraordinary twenty years of practice as an optometrist in Australia. In this period of time my quest to treat patients with restorative possibilities has now become reality. I attract people from all around the country and even worldwide. This has been a surprise to me, but more importantly, I am sensing and experiencing more public awareness and people seeking out facilitatory work like mine to support them so that they can realize new possibilities in vision and health. Facilitation will not only allow them to see well but also feel well, be well, and do well. I propose this as an expanded view and integration of vision that far transcends the physical attributes of seeing detail clearly at any given distance.

The quantum model of health care laid down by Dr. Amit Goswami is a foundation of principles that can be applied to all health care modalities, including optometry.¹
