Treasures of the Heart - Pastor Cora L. Pulley

    Simply Be

    September 21, 1998

Simply be what you are called to be.

All these people passing judgment on me.

Our lives were predestined before the world was called to order by the Man above.

Simply be what you are called to be.

I refuse to let you pass judgment on me.

God is a just God and He can’t lie.

He won’t let good judgment pass us by.

Sometimes we ask the question why.

We feel like things in this life are passing us by.

If I simply be what I’m called to be,

I’m going to get what’s coming to me.

I can’t let you talk down.

My life was chosen to help tear Satan’s kingdom down.

Simply be what you are chosen and called to be,

    No matter who passes judgement.

You’ll gain self-respect and the victory.

A lot of us are called, few are chosen.

    Simply be.

    Secret Sins

    August 8, 1997

Lord, Oh Lord, cleanse me from my secret sins,

Because I know Jesus Christ, treasures of the heart, is coming back again.

Just like a man locked up in the pen,

    We’ve been locked up down.

    No freedom to be found.

Lord, Oh Lord, cleanse us from our secret sins.

Hell is enlarging herself for us, and that old man of sin.

Lord, make our lives bright and fair,

Not a life that’s caught in a snare.

Lord, keep us back from those foul and evil spirits.

Lord, Oh Lord, I’m not proud to ask again and again,

Cleanse us from our secret sins.

    Ecclesiastes 12:14

    Proverbs 6:16

    Luxury

    July 12, 1999

This is a little poem written by me.

The title of this poem is Luxury.

I’m glad for luxury, but you rule luxury, don’t let it rule you.

That’s all I’m trying to say.

Know when to start and know when to stop luxury in a day.

There’s a time and a place for everything.

Know when luxury’s time is up, in Jesus’s name.

Don’t lose focus on what is more important than luxury.

Don’t let luxury swallow you up like water in a cup.

I know that knowledge comes in different ways.

It was Jesus that died for you and rose again.

Keep in mind he loves you.

That’s why we should watch as well as pray.

I want to let you know luxury is not the most
