About this ebook

I felt inspired to write poetry since I was a teenager. Sometimes the thought or idea came to me of a title when I would be cooking a meal or doing a chore and I would run and write it down. I primarily liked to write religious poems or about family and childhood days on the farm. I never dreamed I would get it published but I am happy and excited about this. I do hope readers enjoy it and are inspired by it. Georgie Fae Jackson. This is what my mom dictated to me to write about the author and about the book. Thank you so much for your help. God Bless.

    What A Savior!

    What a precious Savior I so often cry out,

    When I think of Jesus and what His love is all about.

    Only God our Heavenly Father could conceive such a plan

    For mankind’s salvation; His Son’s life at His command.

    Yes, God allowed His only begotten Son to be borned of the Virgin Mary,

    Conceived by the Holy Spirit in His own time without tarry.

    Joseph, with His wife, Mary, just as God had planned

    Had to travel to Bethlehem town to be taxed upon Ceaser’s demand.

    And so it was when they arrived no room was left in the inn;

    The only place they could stay was in a stable with animals to befriend.

    Thus it came to pass that night the Christ Child would be born,

    Wrapped in cloth and laid in a manger while Angels

    announced his birth to shepherds
