About this ebook

According to the author, for the past 20 years in the church world and in the business world, many great marriages and families have fallen apart. Leaders have failed to give their followers and supporters closure about what really happened in their marriages. Especially in the church world, many are left hanging and hurting because they have lost trust. Destiny Boaz, a pastor’s wife, is the first to bring out a true, open, honest and transparent story to let her readers know why and how her own marriage fell apart. She believes that healing must take place in the lives of God’s people. Closure is very important for one to move forward.

This book will appeal to readers, men as well as women, because the home is in trouble and marriages are in trouble. Sometimes they feel something is wrong but they are unable to put their finger on it. This book will help them identify why the intimacy in their marriage is over, why the communication in the relationship is dying, why the intimacy goes cold and the passion dies.

    Dedication To The Holy Spirit

To my precious Sweet Holy Spirit who is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, the Master and Ruler of my life. I thank my Lord Jesus Christ for the Power of the Holy Spirit in my life – He has walked me through the thick and thin. He has delivered me from the whale’s belly. He has broken every bondage over my life and He has set me free from demonic powers. I have had three years of intense adversity and I suffered deep demonic attacks of the Jezebel and witchcraft spirit. I had a demonic cough that refused to break. He is the greatest Physician that I have ever known. I had very little life in my body from my waist down. The doctors couldn’t find the cause of my infirmity (a satanic Jezebel attack) and I died for six minutes. The Holy Spirit was my Healer and my Strengthener. He Resurrected me from Death to Life. When my husband abandoned me for Jezebel, the Holy Spirit became my Husband, my Lover and my Comforter. When the people I ministered to rejected and abandoned me when I needed them the most, He became my Friend and Helper. When I had no money (not even one cent to buy a loaf of bread), He was my Provider. When I couldn’t find anyone to talk to in the midnight hours because they didn’t understand my brokenness, He was my Counselor. When I received the divorce papers while on a breathing machine, busted and broken − not knowing where to turn or how to handle the situation – He was my Lawyer. When I couldn’t find anyone to pray me through, He was my Intercessor. He prayed me through every demonic assault on my life and gave me the victory. When my family rejected and avoided me, He took me up and wrapped me in His arms. When the Body of Christ treated me like I had leprosy, He was passionate about me and had a plan and purpose for my life. I am here to declare to you, the supernatural power of God. No doctor, pastor, counselor, physiologist or medication can heal a broken heart. Only the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit in your life can heal a broken heart and a torn spirit. I’m here to declare and decree the power of the cross and to tell you about a man from Galilee. His name is Jesus, the one who shed his precious blood and destroyed every satanic stronghold to set the captives free. He has raised me up for such a time as this and this book was birthed by the Holy Spirit to declare to the nations that He came to set the captives free (Isaiah 61:1).

I dedicate this book to my precious, sweet and blessed Holy Spirit who has delivered me, healed me and restored me, and now He has empowered and anointed me to impact this next generation through this book. He’s the man I long for, He’s the man I’m chasing after and He’ll always be the man I’m passionate about. No man can ever love you like the Holy Spirit. He is the lover of lovers. He’s the best man you can ever have in your life. He will never abandon you, reject you or forsake you. HE IS A LIFE SAVER! RECEIVE HIM INTO YOUR LIFE TODAY TO BREAK YOUR BONDAGES.

    Dedication To My Daughter

To my daughter Lisa, you are God’s gift to me. You have gone through much headache and pain over the years on the field of Evangelism with us. I admire your willingness to fight. I’ve seen you grow up with the wisdom of God. You have pressed through every obstacle that came into your life by faith. In the storm, you were my strength, my counselor and my angel. I realized when going through this tragic situation that all along the Holy Spirit was preparing you to minister back to me.

You said something to me that was very prophetic and it carried me through the storm. You said, Mommy, thank God for Daddy. God brought him into your life for a season. He’s not leaving you in a worse state. God used him to impart a lot into your life and you must be grateful for that season. Now that season has come to a close and the new chapter has opened to you. I want to encourage you Mommy to move on. God has more for you. This was what my twenty-one year- old prophesied into my life – it was a word of comfort to me and I received that word.

Lisa, you have a legacy in our Lord Jesus Christ. All the pain we went through together over the years was meant to make you stronger, better and wiser and will catapult you to your purpose and destiny. I declare and prophesy that over your life. You will always be very special to me. You are a great daughter.

    Foreword

As the Senior Pastor of Outreach Ministries, I have had countless marriage counseling sessions over the past years. I have the privilege of educating couples about the selfless love that our Lord, Jesus Christ, has shown us by giving his life at the cross for an undeserving race, requiring nothing of us to fulfill this divine assignment. The understanding of such love proves that love in its purest form involves seeking the well-being of a recipient above oneself.

About two and a half years ago, I had the privilege of meeting Prophetess Destiny, a woman who displayed this very selfless love as mentioned above, towards her Husband. I witnessed the resilience of a woman who loved her husband dearly and wholeheartedly, carefully fulfilling the requirement of her vow to commit to him under all circumstances, good or bad – even through the trial of rejection from a husband who had supposedly known the word of God yet chose to abandon their marriage to live in sin with another woman. Prophetess Destiny remained steadfastly loyal to her marriage vow, and her love for her husband was never shattered. I counseled Prophetess Destiny and her Husband and have used all my knowledge in my attempt to restore their marriage relationship. Unfortunately, her husband was drunk with an Absalom and Jezebel spirit and refused to seek restoration of their marriage. Nonetheless, Prophetess Destiny, still today, continues to love her husband.

This book is one of the most inspiring and informative manuscripts that Prophetess Destiny has written. The experiences disclosed are detailed and instructive for young men and women, and married couples alike. In this book, Prophetess Destiny does an outstanding job of revealing the deceptive work of the enemy and his allies against marriages in the body of Christ. This is a book that I recommend to every couple, married and unmarried, as well as singles who are not yet in a relationship. It will arm its readers so that they, too, will not be caught in the nest of the union-destroying Absalom and Jezebel Spirit.

    Pastor Keith Robert

    Foreword

The author of this awesome book by Destiny and her husband are personally known to me through the calling of God upon their lives.

They both visited and worked with our church New York for a period of time immediately after they relocated to the Unites States from Canada, I saw the hands of God upon their lives and I saw a genuine Christian love between these two servants of God and I have no doubt that their marriage was ordained from heaven.

They were with us for a while before they had to move on to fulfil the divine assignment God placed in them – to set up school of deliverance and this they did very faithfully.

This author is a very strong intercessor and was solid behind her husband to see that he succeeded in His calling and she did everything needed including submitting herself to his leadership and interceding for him.

While doing all in her power to fight the evil one off her husband and his ministry, while she was on her knees groaning in intercession to see her husband in the gates. She then went through severe spiritual attacks which were to take her life but God delivered her from them as the Bible said that God delivers the righteous from their entire affliction God delivered Destiny from all her afflictions and demonic attacks.

She saw the effect of the Jezebel spirit in the life of a servant of God and how Jezebel can eventually truncate one’s vision, dream and even passion for the things and work of God. Jezebel can take a servant of God away from his wife, children and ministry thereby resulting into a lot of pain and heartache.

Reading this book would reveal the following truths:

    1. Spiritual warfare is not a figment of any man’s imagination, it is real and you have to fight to win.

    2. Jezebel is always around servants of God especially those with definite and clear calling upon their lives and so every servant of God must be sober and be vigilant.

    3. Every servant of God should surround himself with fervent intercessors to shield him and protect him from the onslaught of those operating with the spirit of Jezebel.

    4. And it should be noted that intercessors are not trouble makers, they are fighters in the realm of the spirit as they are people given special ability to see into the realm of the unseen and to know those things that are not freely known.

    5. There are home wreckers and family demolition teams all around with intentions of destroying the home of servants of God so everyone must be sober and be vigilant to avoid wreckage and destruction of their homes and families.

Prophetess Destiny diligently worked on this book talking about her personal experience so as to help her readers from the Jezebels in the church, ministry and around their lives.

She wants her readers to learn from her real-life experience, as to be forewarned is to be forearmed, she doesn’t want anyone to go through the pain of not covering yourself from the atrocities that Jezebel can bring to you.

She also speaks of how Jezebel sneaks in with well worked out devices and strategies that unless God helps you, you will fall into her trap.

I recommend this book for everyone whether in ministry or a lay person. I advise that you read the book with spiritual understanding and let the content of which was put together for enlightenment guide you as you work for the Lord.

Thank you, Prophetess Destiny, for being very open, sincere and honest with your readers. I pray this book would bring blessings to all that read it in Jesus name

    Bishop Mervin Lake

    Foreword

This book is a true, gripping and tearful story of how a daughter of Zion wrestled with and overcame a deadly assault against her life by the host of hell. A network of demonic forces, on special assignment sought to take Prophetess Destiny ‘life, so that she would not be able to reveal Satan’s classified files of hell’s stranglehold of the church.

This story has all the ingredients of a spiritual soap opera and sustained series of painful and torturous encounters with the powers of darkness operating through her husband, whose anointed deliverance ministry brought freedom to thousands of souls in the body of Christ throughout the Caribbean and North America. He has now become a casualty of war.

This fascinating true story is a sure eye opener. Its content will surely shock the body of Christ back on track, as the church today is asleep and has in essence become a grand social club and the devil’s playground. Every minister of the gospel, lay person, believer and those yet to be won to Christ need to secure one of these books. After reading this book, your life will never be the same again. Thousands of marriages will get answers for their troubled relationships.

This book should prove to be invaluable as a powerful ministry tool in the homes of those called to the fivefold ministry as it identifies some major root causes of deep marital conflict and chaos now very evident in the body of Christ today and how to overcome them.

    Chapter 1

YOUR CALLING IS DIFFERENT FROM YOUR BONDAGE

Decide to Break Free from Bondage

Our character flaws, also called bondages, make up our personal spiritual condition. These flaws should be handled apart from our calling. When I discuss this issue with ministers (including my husband Hosea), they point out that God is using them mightily. Yes, God is using them in their calling, but that has nothing to do with their spiritual condition. Their bondage remains, despite their calling, unless they receive personal deliverance. Many ministers think if God is using them, it’s proof that they are in good standing with God and they ignore their personal bondages. If you don’t deal with your bondages, they will choke your calling and this will affect your salvation. Anything that an individual is unwilling to master will eventually master them.

Scripture gives us a clearer picture of what is really required for believers to finish their course and gain the prize of their salvation (I Cor. 9:24-26). Every born-again believer has entered a race that will determine where they’ll spend eternity. The church must understand that the adversary of our soul (Satan) has one objective − to prevent Christians from running their race. He doesn’t want us to make one step forward and at every step he is there to hinder our progress. The church needs to understand that to be able to run our race, Christians must overcome their bondages. Consider the scripture below, Rev. 3:4-5:

"Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.

5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

The body of Christ seems to be unaware of the following:

    • Our Christian life is really not about our gifts and callings. These have been freely given to us by God and they are without repentance (Rom. 11:29).

    • We’re in a life and death struggle every day of our lives (24/7). We wrestle with principalities, powers and rulers of the darkness of this world … against spiritual wickedness in high places (Eph. 6:12).

    • We have been commanded of the Lord to put on the whole armor of God so that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Eph. 6:13).

    • Without the armor of righteousness, we are no match for the demonic powers that strive to block us from running the race of life without bondages. Every issue that we successfully overcome keeps us running the race within the parameters of the faith contained in the full Gospel of Jesus Christ (Eph. 6:10-18).

    • At our born-again experience, we were quickened (made alive) in the spirit only. Our human spirit was immersed in the Spirit of Christ (Gal. 3:27; John 3:3, 5-6; II Cor. 3:3).

    • After this new birth, we are immediately drafted into the army of Christ (II Tim. 2:3-4). We are not only saved, but also given the responsibility to work out our own soul salvation in becoming soldiers of Christ. God expects us to cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit so that we can walk perfect in holiness and in the fear of God (II Cor. 7:1).

    • All of us are soldiers in the making. Once we have given our hearts to Christ, we are duty-bound to please Christ who has chosen us to become soldiers.

    • Every soldier that WARRETH does not entangle himself (he is not to have any part) in this evil world system. We must die to the passions and interests of this world (Gal. 6:14).

    • Believers should understand that while running the race of life, we are required to mortify the flesh to successfully engage our arch enemy and overcome him (Eph. 6:10-18).

    • To run the race of life and stay within the parameters of the faith, as Paul did, we need to be thoroughly familiar with the wiles and strategies of our enemy (I Cor. 9:25-27).

    • We must learn how to use the weapons of our warfare, which are not carnal but mighty through God to pull down STRONGHOLDS, i.e., lust, pride, anger, perversion, rejection, and the list goes on and on (I Cor. 10:4).

    • The above scripture confirms that we are in a battle. The church should know that anyone who receives Christ (believes that Jesus is the Savior-Son of God) becomes a born-again believer and is given POWER to become a son of God − even to them that believe on His name. We have no option but to fight the good fight of faith and lay hold onto eternal life (John 1:12; I Tim. 6:12).

    • Sonship (complete salvation), spoken of in John 1:12, is only attained as we learn how to exercise the power and authority that Christ gave us. This practice takes us from spiritual babes all the way to Christian maturity. Maturity is the full stature of Jesus Christ, which is Christian character. This is necessary to run our race, complete our course and gain the prize of life (I Pet. 2:1-2; Eph. 4:13).

    • Maturity is mandatory for all believers, but it can only be attained through a process of deliverance. Deliverance requires us to engage the enemy in intense spiritual warfare (on a daily basis) to ensure our freedom from bondage. We acquire this freedom as we become the sons of God (II Tim. 2:20-21; II Cor. 7:1-2).

    • Sonship is only attained after a born-again believer wages a spiritual battle in which they are victorious. After the victorious battle, we are ready to be used by the Master (II Tim. 2:20-21).

    • Jesus Christ confirmed all that has been said above. Jesus gave specific conditions to believers that choose to become His disciples, which are those that run the race and stay on course (Luke 9:23).

    • The above statements make it clear that in our Christian life (the race) we are not just to operate in our giftings (i.e., the healing, evangelistic or prophetic ministry, etc.). It is more important that the ministry of Jesus Christ, we build a solid RELATIONSHIP WITH CHRIST as we aggressively engage the enemy in intense spiritual warfare. Victory over bondages such as anger, lust, pride, witchcraft, generational issues, soul-ties, etc. enable us to build Christian character. As we are set free from these bondages and become the sons of God, our relationship with Christ is developed and strengthened (II Cor. 7:1, 2; II Tim. 2:21; Gal. 5:24; Heb. 2:11).

    • Sons of God are overcomers. They run their race and finish their course; therefore, they will reign with Christ (Rev. 21:7).

    • Paul confirms the statements above when he tells how sons must maintain a relationship with God by aggressively beating their flesh into obedience. Paul said to complete his race and gain the prize required a daily that he daily whip his flesh so that he would not become a CASTAWAY − one who holds onto pride, anger, lust, lying, exaggerations, spiritual adultery, greed, etc. (I Cor. 9:25-27).

    • Paul makes it clear in the above passage that even if God USED ALL OF PAUL’S GIFTINGS AND WORKED MIGHTY MIRACLES THROUGH HIM, IN THE END, PAUL COULD LOSE HIS SOUL SALVATION (become a castaway).

    • While God worked many miracles through Paul, his focus was on killing the flesh and surrendering his life to Jesus Christ so that he could overcome character flaws (i.e., lust, perversion, witchcraft, generational curses, pride, ungodly soulish relationships, etc.). He said this was necessary for him to be assured of his soul’s salvation. This is what God desires of us and it is our responsibility to see that we are freed. God has given us the spiritual weapons to achieve this (Gal. 5:24; II Cor. 10:4-5).

    • Paul’s experiences confirm all the previous statements. Paul himself was an academic, but he gave strong messages to the church that his titles and achievements (including him operating in his gifts) were no more than dung so that he could win Christ (Phil. 3:7-8). We must do the same by working on our character flaws.

    • The church must rearrange its priorities to ensure that Christian character is built first … before the pursuit of giftings. This has been a serious misconception in the church. It must be addressed if the church is to flow in the level of power that God has ordained for it. This is the only way that a Great revival can break forth and set many captives free (Eph. 4:13; Isa. 6:1-9).

It is, therefore, correct to say:

    • If there is no deliverance, there can be no victory.

    • If there is no warfare, there is no freedom from bondages (the fleshly acts that prevent us from completing our course).

    • Without Christian character, we cannot manifest the fruits of the Spirit. We cannot stay on course and finish our race as sons of God should (Gal. 5:22-23).

    • Every born-again believer and minister of the Gospel that operate in their respective giftings are all in the race to win the prize and must press forward. Paul pressed with every fiber of his being so that he would not have labored in vain (Mark 13:13; Job 7:9; Phil. 2:16; Rev. 3:5; Phil. 3:14-17).

    • Only those that overcome are sons (Rev. 21:7).

    • Paul concludes, I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: hence there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only but unto all them also that love His appearing (II Tim. 4:7).

Take a fresh, deep look at your own life to see what character flaws remain. There are two questions you need to answer:

    1) Can you say with confidence that you have fought a good fight … that you have finished your course?

    2) Will you make a commitment to begin to aggressively deal with your flaws through the process of spiritual warfare?

The church must now take serious heed to everything said above because believers are the targets of Satan’s attacks. This book is a true-life story that centers around a mighty man of God who, like us all, was in the race of life, but became a casualty of war. He was added to the thousands of ministers (soldiers) who have fallen.

    Chapter 2

THE MIGHTY MAN OF GOD − A FALLEN SOLDIER

Apostle Hosea, a mighty man of God, had been in the Deliverance Ministry for over thirty-two years. He had a heavy anointing on his life from the age of 16. He ministered throughout the islands of the West Indies and throughout North America for over 20 years, bringing healing and deliverance from bondage to thousands of souls. Nevertheless, Apostle Hosea became a casualty of war because he failed to deal with his character flaws of lust, perversion, pride, rejection, deep hurt, soul-ties and generational curses − all of which are still at work in his life.

Apostle Hosea was a highly gifted and anointed man who had a thorough knowledge of the Word. He always spoke a revelatory word that lined up with scripture and is an excellent teacher. No one who sat under his teachings for one session remained the same. Many were saved and delivered under this heavy deliverance anointing. However, Hosea failed to address his character issues over the many years of his ministry. His spiritual condition worsened because he refused wise counsel from numerous pastors and others who pled with him to make a self-evaluation of his life.

He has now lost the anointing and is presently living a tormented and restless life. He is blinded by self-deception and self-denial. More than that, he is held captive by a powerful seducing and lustful Jezebel spirit. Why? He failed to exercise a decision of his will to repent and give up this Jezebel relationship. He was not desirous of engaging the enemy daily in aggressive spiritual warfare. Even though he taught this principle so well to others, he did not cultivate a healthy prayer life himself (another well taught principle). Not dealing with his serious character flaws prevented him from establishing a solid fellowshipping relationship with the Lord. The powerful anointing that he carried (like many other ministers) caused him to be deceived into believing that he had no need to deal with his issues − he thought he was ok. He thought that the anointing exempted him from undergoing his own character transformation.

Apostle Hosea became another statistic in the long list of ministers of the Gospel and others in the Body of Christ who have been taken out of the race in similar fashion. In conclusion, I would simply say, our victorious walk with Christ rests squarely on our ability to endure to the end as Paul did.

Adversity (Excerpt from Dr. Mike Murdock, Adversity)

When I talk about adversity, I am not talking about when you do not pay your income tax, and you get caught, and you have to pay the penalty.

Adversity is not when you get a ticket on the way to church because you were driving too fast. That has nothing to do with adversity. That is paying the penalty for rebelling against the laws of God. Often when we define adversity can really be traced to something that we have done in open defiance or rebellion against the known will of God.

Adversity is not when you cannot make a payment on something that you should not have borrowed money for in the first place. By the term adversity I am not talking about those things.

I want to talk about true adversity, adversity in areas of your heart: When you friends have turned their backs on you. When you have lost at love. When a relationship has deteriorated. When your husband walks out on you and leaves you for a younger woman. When you wife gets involved with a man on her job-and it is ripping your heart out. When you lose your job, when you get fired, and you cannot find work; when your back is against the wall. When you have to sell your house, and it will not sell, and you are stuck with it. And you do not know where to go, or what to do. When you go to a healing line at a crusade, and you stand there for two hours, and everybody gets healed except you.

When it seems Satan has targeted, you like he did job. When I talk about adversity, I am talking about the times when you become the obvious target of a satanic strategy, a plot to destroy you—to obliterate your faith, to wipe out your hope. As Jesus said, "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. (John 10:10)

It is true that Satan schedules is attacks. It is true that he does not attack everyone the
