    Chapter 1

    About Bob

B ob used to be a very nice boy. He is the first and only child of Mr. and Mrs. Urchin. Mr. and Mrs. Urchin are known in the estate where they live as very nice, kind, and understanding couple.

Mr. and Mrs. Urchin are also well known by everybody in the estate and beyond for the good training they give Bob every day.

Whenever Bob wants to go outside to play, before he goes out the door, they always tell him to be good. Bob’s mum, in particular, always shouts out loud to Bob whenever he is going out to play, Remember to be good, don’t forget to be nice to other kids, be careful while you are playing, and watch out for the vehicles coming in and out of the estate. Also remember to share your go-cart and football with your friends. Finally, Bob, be nice once again. Don’t use bad words, and don’t call people names.

Then Bob’s father would say, Bob, I hope you heard what your mother said, so try and do all that your mother tells you to do all the time because it does not cost you anything to be good.

Then Bob would say, "Okay, Mum, okay Dad, I promise I am going to be good all the time. Thank you, Mum, and thank you, Dad, so can I go and play now?

Then his mum and dad would say, Okay, you can go, and then they give Bob a hug and a kiss, and off Bob goes to play.
