This book is about Story Winterborne and the Big Book at the Library. She has a best friend named Stormy Monday, who brings a new friend to Storys house to play. This new friend has a problem: her dad smokes. She offers a cigarette to Story and Monday, which leaves Story to tell the girls about the bad things she has read from the Big Book at the library on smoking. Once she has finished letting them know that smoking is not good for them, the girls vow to never smoke, and they are lifelong smoke-free buddies.

I am proudly born and raised and still reside in Dallas, Texas. I am a product of the following educational Institutions: Amelia Earhart Elementary, Oliver Wendell Holmes Middle School, Edward H. Carey Middle School, and Thomas Jefferson High School, home of the mighty Patriots. I’ve had many jobs that I remember well, but my most memorable job is my current job at Parkland Hospital, which is also the hospital where I was born. I have two wonderful daughters, Krystal and Valorizes, whom I have dedicated my life, and with God’s guidance, I believe I have been a pretty successful mother, sister, friend, disciplinarian, teacher, gossip buddy, and prayer warrior. I also have the most wonderful grandson this side of glory, Isaiah. He is my joy and a marvel to watch, grow, and develop.
