The single-most powerful asset we all have is our mind. If it is trained well, it can create enormous wealth in what seems to be an instant.

AUTHOR’S NOTE
M y decision to write this book was based on my husband and partner, John. John is a good man and he is very supportive in our business ventures, but his inability to retain interest in a 300-page book about investing in real estate proved to me that there was a real need for ‘keeping it simple’. I didn’t want this book to be painfully repetitive or write it so that it was ‘filled with fluff’, for want of a bett er term.
Don’t get me wrong. John is an extremely intelligent man; he just doesn’t have the time or the patience to indulge in a ‘novel’ to get to the key points. My goal in writing this book is to keep it brief as well as simple, while providing you with the key points, then allowing you to spend further time in understanding and implementing them should you decide that investing in real estate is for you.
So to keep this as brief as I intend to keep the book, I have simply outlined the most important elements for you to understand the dos and don’ts of real estate investing while keeping it ‘John-Easy’ to read, as well as inspire you to invest your time, your mind, and your future in real estate.
I hope you benefit greatly from reading this book and wish you well on your journey to attaining financial freedom through real estate investment.

Before I begin, first and foremost, I would like you to understand the word ‘equity’ and what it means, because it is just not a very commonly understood word in relation to real estate. Equity is a very important consideration for where you are now in the investing game and where you intend to
