About this ebook
Then, one day a strong sense of urgency came over me. It was my conscience telling me I had no other choice but to share with others what I have experienced and learned. I realized that a chance to possibly change EVEN ONE persons life for the better was enough for me and that I do have a PHD in results. Thus, this book is an attempt to offer you the tools I have acquired through encounters with incredible teachers, while traveling this immense, yet intricate world.
I pray the information in this book brings you even more riches, and most importantly, experiences that take your breath away, as it has brought me.

Preface
Over the past couple of years, I have thought about writing this book, but I could not bring myself to take the leap from thought to paper. The reason for my lack of action was not due to any questions or fears toward my ability. The techniques I cover in this book have equipped me with overcoming such barriers, so much so that I have accomplished more than I had ever dreamed or imagined. The barrier to begin with was in one pesky and persistent question: Am I worthy?
My thoughts were repeatedly hijacked with numerous people more worthy
than I am to write a book on how to achieve the impossible. I have seen people without arms and legs and individuals with complete paralysis, powering through and doing the impossible.
I have met people in stark poverty living in straw huts and surviving only on what the rainforest yields. Each of them has stories that are both inspiring and humbling—extraordinary testaments to the power that lies within us. Their personal obstacles were monumental, and yet their resolve was even greater that, as inspiring as this may sound, it is also extremely intimidating for me, rattling my confidence in my story and my experience, leaving a nagging question of worth: Could what I know really help someone?
Then one day, a strong sense of urgency came over me. It was my conscience telling me I had no other choice but to share with others what I have experienced and learned. I realized that a chance to possibly change even one person’s life for the better was enough for me and that I do have a PhD in results. Thus, this book is an attempt to offer you the tools I have acquired through encounters with incredible teachers while traveling this immense yet intricate world.
I pray that the information in this book brings you even more riches and, most importantly, experiences that take your breath away as it has brought me.
Acknowledgments
I hope you have or will have amazing people around you to support, praise, and lift you up, as I have had as part of my life. This book would not have been possible without the help of my beautiful, smart, and caring wife, Lynn, and my amazing, daughter, Molly. Also, thanks to my family, for without their constant cheers, I do not know where I would be today. Thanks to my best friend and role model, Kevin Spencer, and his wife, Cindy. They are truly among the best human beings I have ever met. And last but not least, thanks to my friends, whom I have intentionally surrounded myself with due to their positive support and impassioned lives for me to follow: Lori Gentry, and Jim and Cheryl Jarrett—may each of their lives be as amazing as their presence and friendship has made mine.
Chapter 1
My Background
My childhood was less than perfect. By the time I was old enough to vote, my biological father was not in the household; and a parade of stepfathers (four to be exact) had waltzed in and out of our lives, learning at a young age that many people in this world care only for themselves and have no interest in what may be best for you or for others. Learning these lessons might jade a person. The trick is to not let it and to keep a positive mental attitude. In the worst-case scenario, such people are your own family members. At the time these people are affecting your life in a negative way, you might not be able to get away from them. However, what I have learned is that you can learn from anyone; just sometimes, it’s how not to live your life.
I’m sure my mother did the best she could with the knowledge and resources she had, raising two boys on
