I dedicate this book first and foremost to El Shaddai, the All Breasted One whom without His precious Holy Spirit this book could not have been written. Also to Johnette Moore, Sherry York Hill, Jennifer Moore, Ernest Kromah, Bro Emma Okorie (Apostle/President LWM), his wife Chi Emma Okorie who supported and encouraged my growth as a believer, Pastor Ben Akalonu and all those who had faith in God that He who has begun a good work in me is faithful to complete it in Jesus’ name.

I have always said, Anything that glitters like gold must have passed through some serious fire. It is only in the heat of the furnace that the core of a substance is allowed to be seen and its worth made manfest. Gold in its purest form is transparent and Dr. Kalu Oji has been completely transparent in this account of his life and testimony. As I read over the pages of this book I was in awe of the making of the man Kalu Oji. Only God’s grace could keep him as he entered through the strait gate and journeyed along the narrow path that has bought him to this point today.

We read in the book of Daniel chapter 3 how the Son of God was seen walking about in the fiery furnace with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, a fire so hot that it slew the very men who threw the boys into it; an experience that saw faith produce supernatural results that bought honour and glory to God, making believers out of idol worshipers.

As you turn the pages of the book My Testimony you will be encouraged and inspired to keep your eye on the Master come what may, knowing that He works all things together for our good and His glory. He discounts no experience, but uses them all to shape and make us into His likeness. Your best days are still ahead of you.

Bro. Kalu is a well-known Christian to me. I have known him for many years now and I see him as a Christian with three aspects of life.—The past.—The present—the future. The journey of his past was a crooked and rough one filled with potholes. Kalu’s past was not pretty but somewhere along his youthful life, the mercy of God met him when he came into contact with the Scripture in Isaiah 1:18, NKJV that says: Come now, and let us reason together, Says the LORD, Though your sins be like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. The LORD Jesus Christ gave him a new life and he took off with the speed of lightning and has not stopped till date, crisscrossing nations with the testimony of his life and the gospel of our LORD Jesus Christ, touching lives with every available means.

Today he is bringing glory to our Lord Jesus who saved him. Then the question is where is he going from where he currently is? The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 2:9, NKJV: But as it is written: Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him. The love he has for God will propel him to do exploits for God, and my earnest prayer is that he will be among God’s generals whom I will shake hands with in the Kingdom of God.

My Testimony is a book one must read as well as give to someone else as a gift. It will bring those outside of God’s Kingdom into the Kingdom, encourage those already in the Kingdom, and prepare others for the coming of our Lord Jesus.

Who knew Kalu Oji but God? Only God knew a little boy from Nigeria would grow up with such purpose, God’s purpose. As I read his wonderful testimony, I couldn’t help but think, I have not lived! I was so impressed by Kalu’s parents and his upbringing. It made me pay attention to the integrity and love for God that he was raised with. Today, we as American Christian parents have gotten so far away from both of these. I truly enjoyed the transparency of Kalu in sharing his teenage years and the experiences he had. It is often difficult for some of us to admit that we had a past because we are too busy worrying about what others will think.

My favorite parts of Kalu’s testimony were Gods purpose and Kalu’s perseverance. I am amazed
