The setting starts in the basement of a small town suburban house with the main character Capri. Capri is typical lazy slacker in his early twenties. Looking at his alarm clock, he wakes up and takes a drink out of the 40 oz bottle of old English that he failed to drink the night before. Seeing that it is 2 o’clock in the afternoon he decides not to go back to sleep. Rising from his bed he puts on a pair of shorts and a tee shirt. Walking towards the stairs in the basement he stumbles over a pair of shoes in the middle of the floor. Angrily kicking the shoes out of his path, Capri continues walking towards the stairs. He reaches the top of the stairs and makes his way towards the living room window.
He looks out the window and sees it is a nice day. The sky is blue. There are no clouds in sight. The weather was normal for a late spring day. Capri continues observing the day from his living room window. Suddenly he is interrupted by the family dog spike.
What’s up boy?
Capri says reaching down and petting the young golden retriever.
Do you want to go outside?
He says leading the dog towards the back door.
The dog replies by spinning around in a circle and running towards the back door. Capri unlocks and opens the backdoor for spike leaving him enough room to get outside. Spike runs out to the backyard and immediately starts investigating his territory. Capri shut the door and walks towards the kitchen to spy
