Connie Ostrem is an Ankeny Iowan and a retired grandmother of seven wonderful children. Her hobbies are woodworking, quilting and crafts. Connie’s desire is to be able to create a book that her grandchildren could use and carry through generations. As a mother, she also realizes the importance of good values. When children are taught and practice good values at an early age, it is a good possibility they will carry them through adulthood, which will in return create a continuing cycle of good choices.

Chapter 1
On an early spring morning, Care Flower skipped to the magical garden
to see where the new magical sunflower seeds were planted. Farmer Sunny was very busy working in the fields and he looked very tired.
Hello Farmer Sunny,
said Care Flower. Can I help you in the magical garden today?
Sure
answered Farmer Sunny. You can help me water the sunflower seeds. These special seeds need plenty of water and sunshine to grow healthy and strong.
Great,
replied Care Flower. "I’ll run home and get my watering can. See you in
a few minutes!"
Care Flower ran all the way home and found her watering can. She had returned to the garden when she realized she forgot to put water in the can.
Oh no,
said Care Flower. What will I do, I forgot the water!
Just then she saw Share flower watering her vegetable garden.
Oh Share Flower, silly me,
said Care Flower. "I forgot the water for my watering can and I can’t help Farmer Sunny water
