enlighten us.
Kory Roberson-author of the GEMINI SERIES.
Tyrone has given us a very real document in POETIC REFLECTIONS. His
ability to write about real life stirs the soul. Write on my brother.

Poetry is so personal to me. I seek refuge in the brilliant words that express the
thoughts of Tyrone. When reading his writings his words fl ow from my lips like
honey that still delivers the sting of truth like the nectar of African killer bees.

911-A Reality Shift
A person who gives up all desires for
sense gratification, who lives free from
desires, who has given up all sense of
proprietorship, and is devoid of false ego,
he alone can attain real peace. That is the
way of the spiritual and godly life, after
attaining which a man is not bewildered.
Being so situated, even at the hour of death,
one can enter the kingdom of GOD.
BHAGAVAD-GITA
Your body is the temple.
Your mind is the gateway.
Your heart is the innermost door.
The Eternal Spirit is your guest.
Open the door and let the Spirit in.
Ty Hill-1993
For I tell you that many prophets and kings
have desired to see these things which ye see,
and have not seen them; and to hear these things
which ye hear; and have not heard them.
LUKE 10:24
The GOD who made the world and everything in it
is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in
temples built by hands. And the Spirit is not served by
human hands, as if it needed anything, because the Spirit
itself gives all men life and breath and everything else.
ACTS: 17:24
AUTHORS NOTE
It wasn’t until this book was originally
printed in 1996 that I realized it had
a mild religious flavor. It was truly
not my intent. The most obvious reason
for this is that I was born and raised
in a religion professing country. It is
not my intent to offend any believer
or to convert any non-believer. My only
intent is to cause you, the reader, to
pause and think. If at any time during
your reading you stop and reflect upon
the perceptions presented, my goal will
then have been achieved.
May peace be with you.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
I would like to express my appreciation to my late grand-mom, Ethel; my mom, Mary; and my wife, Linda. It is because of their love that my sensitivity and understanding continues to grow.
To my father, my siblings, relatives and friends, all who provided encouraging support.
A special thanks to all the people, past and present who have patiently endured my philosophical rantings and ravings.
All that I am and will become is dedicated to the Eternal Spirit whose gift of life and spiritual prompting has shaped me into the entity that I am today.
A BIRDS EYE VIEW
Imagine me as a bird. Any bird that you might see.
Flying, resting, eating, sleeping, all intermittently.
Resting on a telephone pole or the branch of a tree.
I’m just little bird and you pay no attention to me.
You don’t know I’m intelligent. You can’t believe it’s true.
But whether you believe it or not I’m always watching you.
I see you drive your vehicles and I see that you don’t care.
Depleting the earth of natural oil and polluting precious air.
I see humans play politics and wage war in GODs holy name.
Constantly murdering other humans like playing a video game.
I watch your homeless people struggle daily to survive
and desperate teenage mothers who hustle to stay alive.
In hospital windows I’ve seen babies born
with crack in their veins
and a high probability of damage to their brains.
I’ve watched people create regulations our governments
instill as laws.
The result of which is a world of people full of spiritual
flaws.
