He has taught in the Religion Departments of Allen University in Columbia, SC, Limestone College the Columbia, SC campus, and Newberry College in Newberry, SC. He received his education from Benedict College.in Columbia, SC, Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in Columbia, SC, Erskine Theological Seminary in Due West, SC, Bethany Theological Seminary in Houston, Alabama, and United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio.
