The hosts of Heaven stood by, watching how The Lord would respond to His people's pleas. Evil rulers were dominating the world, and every other god was staking its claim for the worship and at

I Am - Scott R Sullivan
Prelude
To all who are searching for hope, justice, belonging, identity, healing, and purpose, this book is dedicated to you. The Great I AM Who created all life and existence is where we must look. In Him is where every need we have will be met. . .
God replied to Moses, I AM Who I AM. Say this to the people of Israel: I AM has sent me to you.
—Exodus 3:14 NLT
Introduction
This world is in trouble, big trouble. Between wars, pestilences, famines, economic shakings, human trafficking, corruption, false leaders, witchcraft, twisted politics, and dark media, it’s enough to have anyone discouraged.
But God. . .
But God
is not a statement that causes all these things to go away. It’s a statement of the Power of His Name and how He can change a narrative in a nanosecond. He can turn a hopeless situation into a lifespring. He can bring complete Justice to an unjust world. In the following pages, Eternity will be on display. I have prayed for every person who may ever read this book that The Most High will encourage your soul, ignite your heart, and renew your mind. I’ve prayed that the testimonies on the following pages drive you to a deeper relationship with The One Who chose to create you. No one is a mistake; you were created for a very real purpose. Eternity is beckoning you to have His Kingdom reside within you, so I AM can flow through you.
Let yourself get lost in Who He Is and how He holds all Power, Might, and the very fabric of existence itself. He has something to share with you. He has promises and declarations to speak over you. He is calling you right now not only to be His forever in Eternity, but also to move in His Kingdom Power today!
Let your eyes be open, your ears attentive, and your mind ready as God declares:
I AM!

Chapter 1:
Wells
Explosions of Light and Power erupted around and through my being! I was knocked back with no ability to stand and was definitely shocked by the suddenness of it. Moments ago, The Holy Spirit was revealing a new location in Heaven as I was at the end of a long trip of seeing so much of the beauty and tranquility of this wonderful place again.
As I now lay still, pulsating Power mixed with Wind and Light coursed over my body like a rushing Class 5 river, but 100 times greater!! Even in that sudden moment of being knocked down on my back, I was fully aware of What I just had seen and the Unmatched Power that sent me backwards. Lying on my back now was all that I could do as I caught the slightest glimpse of a Robe dipped in blood whooshing past my face. . .
Just a little while before, I was lying down in my bedroom. I had set my glasses on my nightstand, fluffed up my pillow, and looked forward to a good night’s sleep. For some reason, this is when most of my trips to Heaven happen. Maybe it’s because my mind is still and not so much in the way. I can’t reason my way out of surrender and choose my own thoughts over His.
It had been a beautiful day, 50s and sunny. Yellow and red leaves did their final dance as they floated down to their winter resting place. A slight breeze was blowing, and the blue sky was crisp to the eyes. Snow had settled down on some distant mountain peaks while squirrels busily stashed some goodies for the winter. Hey, if squirrels can do it, then so can I! No wonder I try to hide delectable desserts in the back corners of my kitchen. I call it my emergency stash, but for some reason I seem to have an every-other-day emergency when it comes to pastries. Oh, to have the will power of a squirrel and save them for later. I am sorry; pastries have a power of persuasion over my life that I can’t quite overcome. Pray for me.
It felt good to walk again. This had been a trying year of overcoming injuries and loss. I had an accident a few months prior that caused a pretty bad injury. I had been on crutches for quite awhile when another trial came my way.
My best furry buddy Toby and I did everything together. If you have read any of my other books, then you already know about some of my other furry friends that are waiting for me in Heaven. Some were from my childhood and others from adulthood.
God chose to create Toby and send him into my life at a down spot many years ago. Sometimes a furry buddy is just the right medicine. He was little but with a huge heart of courage and faithfulness. Most obedient and dedicated animal I had ever known. The interesting thing about the timing of his life and talents was God’s heart behind creating him. God knew a storm was coming into my life, a storm like I had never known. It would be long and deeply painful. Before the first winds of that storm hit my shores, God, without me knowing, created a furry friend who was the perfect fit for this time.
This storm I was about to walk into had hurricane-force winds of accusations, lies, character assassinations, betrayals, and deaths. Not the best lineup to bring more sunny days. The enemy knew God was building something to impact many people’s lives with the testimonies of Who He Is. During some of the most windy days, and dark horizons personally, God had a plan. Little did I know, in this really trying time, that God was writing the stories in me to share with you. It’s through our brokenness that God reveals His Glorious Strength.
The enemy cannot stop God, cannot beat God, so he goes after the people that God is choosing in His amazing humility to move through.
You and me. . .
If Satan can get us to break, buy a lie, believe a falsehood, have a bitter root grow, then he can sour the whole move and pollute the lifespring well within us. That’s right—you have a well in the belly of your soul that God desires to pour His Living Waters through. The enemy of your soul knows this, and he wants to stop up that well, pollute it, and damage it so that one of two things happens:
The Holy Spirit wants to flow His Living Water through you. The enemy can’t overpower or stop the Holy Spirit, so he instead tempts us to buy into passivity, doubt, or crippling fear to get the well to stop up. God moves through faith, not fear, not doubt, and not passivity. If we buy the lie, then we won’t believe/hear the Holy Spirit clearly. The enemy may try and do this through the amount of untruths you consume. It can be through media, TV, radio, social media, music, video games, wrong friends,
or wrong beliefs. Be careful what your ears are hearing and your eyes are consuming.
If the enemy can’t stop up our inner well with fear, doubt, and passivity, then he will move to soil or pollute the lifespring instead. The enemy likes to use vices like bitterness, envy, insecurity, pride, lust, greed, or a driving need to control every result in our lives. The biggest way to identify who
is speaking to your soul or mind, is what is being asked. God always asks for surrender even when it is not the road we want to walk. The enemy always wants to deceive us with a mis-perceived idea of control, pride, or complete crippling with passivity and fear.
If our hearts are given to Christ, then our lives are not our own. The title deed has been given over. The owner of the title is Good and Right, but the only way to really discover His Greatness is through faith.
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
—Hebrews 11:6 NKJV
Listen, I want control too. Who doesn’t? Our flesh longs for it, but wanting control is really just us saying we know better than the God Who created us. Faith is hard at times, but it is the key to unlock the door of intimacy with God. We are already designed to surrender anyway, so God, knowing our weakness, gave us examples of faith within our own bodies so that the topic of surrender would be a straightforward step for us to take. We have to choose faith and choose to obey His callings in our life. Here are some examples of how faith is already at work with in you:
Your red blood cells. Every moment you are physically alive your brain commands your heart to take oxygen-filled red blood cells to every area of your body. You can’t make that happen by self-will. You wake up every day and trust it is happening whether you are consciously thinking about it or not. Pre-wired faith mechanism.
Your stomach. Your stomach automatically digests the food you swallow and begins the process of pulling out the appropriate vitamins/minerals your body will need to consume to stay alive. You again cannot self-will this to happen. You trust it happens every time you swallow. Pre-wired faith mechanism.
Your nails. Your body dispenses thousands of dead
cells every day to make up your nails. You, by self-will, cannot affect this process in any way, and yet they grow every day. Pre-wired faith mechanism.
Your hair, or in my case, the lack thereof. When has your self-will caused your hair to grow? Whether it be an epic beard or long, flowing pretty locks, we are unable to make it happen, and yet it is still there, needing to be shaved or brushed. Pre-wired faith mechanism.
There are many more examples I can give, but the reality is this: God wants you to succeed in walking in faith with Him, that’s why He designed you with pre-wiring inside. Remember that the next time the enemy tries to lie to you with one of the previously mentioned avenues.
Faith is hard. It’s especially hard when our emotions are not in healthy places, but that really is when we need to push through all the more so that God can get the Glory due His name. I was just finishing one of those hard times when I had been injured for months and then suddenly my best furry buddy Toby died. I was discouraged and now heartbroken. I was also in the middle of writing a book (The Kingdom: Residing Deeper). Here I was deep in the water,
