It is with pride that I’ve been given another opportunity to address you the reader, in behalf of my spiritual daughter, Dr. Constance Cooper. Over six years ago I met her and became a part of an endeavor to publish her first book and testimony entitled The Chronicles of Connie. I was amazed and captivated by the book’s candor, transparency, and fearlessness in sharing the details of her life. Through a progressive faith, trust and obedience to God, Constance overcame the traps that would have caused her demise.

In The Chronicles of Connie Two: Relapsed for a Purpose, Constance offers us another peek at her life subsequent to the first book. During the past years, she has earned an A.A. degree in Biblical studies, a Bachelors degree in Theology, and a few months ago, a Masters in Christian Counseling and now her Doctorate degree in Theology. She has penned six books, each with the goal to help others learn and know they can live a blessed, prosperous, and spirit-filled life.

In the midst of these achievements and successes, Constance has not lived without challenges. She is adamant and consistent to never allow her successes to camouflage her necessity and dependence upon the Lord... despite the lack, deficiencies and obstacles.

Constance knows that no one is exempt from trials, tribulations, persecution, afflictions and suffering. But no matter what the challenges are, she maintains the knowledge that there is a God who loves and cares for us. He leads and guides us into His shelter of peace, goodness and blessing. Her heart is always after the heartbeat of God, and for living a life that is pleasing to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Constance is my spiritual daughter. And I am so happy that she considers and addresses me as one of her spiritual mothers. I am Mom and most proud of how she consistently relays the message of the redemptive power of God through everything she says and sets her hands to do.

Hello Chronicles Family,

In my first book, Chronicles of Connie, I told you about my life and how I became addicted to drugs, how I endured through addiction, and how I briefly overcame addiction. In life we will have traumatic times, tumultuous times, and debilitating times.

For some, these times can cause serious stress, heavy anxiety, and down right depression. I would love to say that it was easy to go to the Lord in prayer. And for the most part I did. But as the days grew long and my heart grew heavier, I returned to what was familiar and safe.

Was I as strong as I thought I was in Chronicles One? No. Not exactly, but I wasn't as weak as the enemy thought I would be either. I fell and this time it wasn't as hard as my first fall, but it was a fall none the less. It was subtle and it was unexpected.

My heart was broken and my life was falling apart, at least in my eyes.

Let’s take another journey into the life of a true soldier, a true warrior, a real fighter, and this time for the last time, an overcomer!! Yes life happened and it was hard, it was rough, and absolutely tough. But God!! He allowed everything to happen simply because He was working out my character, showing me the spirit of perseverance, giving me His strength.

God showed Himself strong on my behalf once again but that’s not all of it. He delivered me from me. This time it was His strength being made perfect in my weaknesses. He allowed me to walk by faith and not by sight and He allowed me to be delivered to be a deliverer.

Go with me into the true walk of redemption and freedom. I became free from pain, free from my past, free from addiction, and free from people!!!
