L ife is like a Thorn Bush

Where you get poked a lot

It’s so serious, to get through-

One has to joke a lot

An existence where Bills

Get the Best of you

Stress gets the rest of you

Where pain is the Heart of it

And pleasure, is the Start of it.

Through the Despair, one has to Prepare

And try not to become Numb to it,

I am a Cactus—Thirsting for Life’s-

Water—Where the thorns Slaughter-

My happiness—I am targeted-

Location—Waiting for Peace-

I am life’s Bird food-

That deserves Food-

DON’T CHASE LOVE

D on’t chase love—allow it to find you-

And when it comes—Grab it like a fish on-

A hook as it reminds you—that you are-

Special—Specially pursued—Like a fugitive-

Crook—Your sky is his playground-

And you two thirst for each other’s hunger-

So like thunder—feel his raft—you are the navigation-

To his Map—So becoming in your existence-

You hold hope in your palm of persistence—So

Soft and forsaken—You have come to your senses-

And your certitude has awaken—Don’t let the bitterness-

Of life grab ahold of you too tight—but rather take a-

A bite of the sweetness—Challenges will try you-

Making love on the bayou-Remember life is genetic, and

Love is aesthetic—Just taste it—I promise-
