About this ebook

Five decades ago, Katherine was born on the island of Saint Martin. Like a butterfly, she fluttered from tree to tree in order to discover her gift, and never stopped until she found it.

However, this was only the beginning of something truly fascinating. Katherine found a way to transform her experiences in a way to help others light their path.

A person with great strength—humble and social-minded, Katherine is more of an observer than a talker. She is thoughtful, an intense listener, and possesses a constructive attitude with a profound mission to help people rise out of turmoil. She is a woman who cares about a person's dignity and values.

Katherine's clients can count on her reliability, honesty, and solution-focused mindset. She is a coach who truly understands what life is about when you have to make ends meet. Her motivation to help others is driven by one belief: anyone can make it in life if they are willing to accept there is an inner space connected with the universe (God) to make the impossible possible.

    FOREWORD

Welcome to my second book—it’s just a tiny window into my life, a peek at where I come from...

Growing up on SXM and being part of the Sonniste (The Boys’ and Girls’ Brigade) taught me that I belonged. As a young girl, it was wonderful to feel part of a group, and I loved how we all looked the same in our smart, matching uniforms as we marched happily along the road to the beat of the music; I was a proud ambassador for my little island.

So many of my fellow Sonnistes will testify that, together, we created something fabulous and loved the structure the discipline brought to our lives. In fact, I dare say many of us would’ve been completely lost had it not been for Captain E.B and Mrs. Chaloose!

I also enjoyed attending the Catholic Church in Grand Case with my family—it was a lovely excuse to get all dressed up! After Catechism, Father Kemps would always cross the road and teach us a song or two. Then, I’d follow my cousin Maggie to Aunt
