I find it my pleasure to have been asked to write the forward for this amazing book, The Eternal Business of Almighty God’s Glory is Producing Disciples. I knew Roger before he was Dr. Hagwood and before he was an author. In fact, I knew him before he knew the Lord. This West Virginian is from my hometown in McDowell County. Many years separated us, but our paths have crossed as co-laborers in ministry. He has traveled with me on eight mission trips at home and abroad. We were blessed to go to Israel in 1995.

Nothing God does is by accident, coincidence or happenstance. The Almighty God called Roger Hagwood from the foundations of the earth to be His servant, Pastor, Dr., author; as well as husband to former Sandra Pilson and father to four wonderful adult children; Edward Jerome Hagwood, Keisha Deneen Walker, Daniele Monique Jones and Samonté Renee Hodge.

God is still looking for men of God who will remain faithful, and Dr. Hagwood has been one of these men. He is dedicated to God and preaching the gospel. Often he says, This is a word church. The Bible says in Isaiah 55:11, So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing where I sent it. Dr. Hagwood has been and inspiration and a blessing to many people, as well as his congregation at First Christian Church (DOC) of Stuart, Virginia.
