As a believer, whenever we hear about the left behind, we immediately think about the Rapture. We instantly think about the unbelievers or those that have not accepted Jesus Christ into their lives. We always think about how unbelievers will remain in this world during the Rapture to face the Antichrist, and believers will be caught up with Christ in the sky and gloriously taken into heaven.

I received a revelation about the left behind that greatly transformed my life and my walk with the Lord. The Lord instructed me to write this book to enlighten all believers and born-again Christians about the topic of being left behindnot from the traditional thought or understanding that we all have about this topic but from a different perspective, which is believers that are left out of Gods plan, purpose, or agenda in their generation even though these believers are consistent and devout churchgoers.

Olufemi A. Ijiwoye

The author of The Left Behind Book is Olufemi Ijiwoye, he has a calling into mission outreach to unreached places on the earth and to support and assist missionaries that works in unreached places of the earth. Olufemi is passionate about mission outreaches, evangelism and youth ministry. His passion had led him to summer youth Christian camps in Toronto, Canada and into Medical and Christian Outreaches in Liberia and Nigeria. Olufemi was born in Ile Ife, Osun State Nigeria. He gave his life to Christ during the Full Gospel Business Men Fellowship breakfast meeting in Ile Ife in 1994. The author graduated from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in Ogbomosho, Nigeria with a Bachelor of Technology in Food Engineering and he served as a Student Pastor and Pastors Coordinator of Student Christian Movement, LAUTECH chapter 1999 to 2000. He migrated to Canada in 2004, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada in 2010. Presently, Olufemi works as a Nurse in one of the most visited hospital in Ontario, Canada. He presently serves in his local church. He is married to Adetokunbo and they are blessed with three lovely children.

DEDICATION

The Left Behind book is dedicated to all believers, my brothers and sisters in Christ, young or old, female or male, married or single who desire to fulfill God’s calling upon their lives. To all the children of God who do not want to be left behind in God’s purpose and agenda for their lives and in their generation.

This book was birthed by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit through the revelation of God’s word. As you take your place as God’s soldier in your generation, as you hearken to that still small voice, as you strive for your obedience to be complete and as you daily purge your heart before your Lord and Savior, may the Lord reveal Himself to you in a new way. Remember, God will only reveal the secret things to His sons and daughters whom He can trust.

As a believer, be encouraged that this book was inspired to reveal the heart of God to you. You can make up your mind to follow God’s daily dealings, knowing fully well that He is working in you to reveal His plan and purpose. This is a call to every believer for a deeper walk with the person of the Holy Spirit with the heart ready to be cleansed by God’s word.

I therefore dedicate this book to all believers who are still walking with the Lord through the narrow path. To new believers, those who have backslidden and repented, those who are struggling on the journey, those who are steadfast and holding on to every word of God, to those who are tired and weary, to those who desire to know the counsel and purpose of God for their life and/or family, to those who desire a fresh oil for a fresh start and to those who are passionate about lost souls.

As you read, study and meditate on the revelation of this book, my prayer is that according to Ephesians 1:17 – 22 (KJV), "that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised Him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all." Amen!
