Erin is alone, and her lover is nowhere to be found. Doubt catches her off guard. And the search for truth causes her fears to become a cycle of ruin. Time remains unfazed and changes us in the most fascinating ways. The journey is more than what the eye can see. What is is not reality. And what was comes knocking. The door for hope is one to be yet opened when words remain unspoken.
Erin finds a family curse and a path to the other side. She carries on and walks to the light. Lucian is searching for his lost child. Fate shows the destination. And hope is not compensated. Forever and always, time shows to be an advantage of surprising demands. What is to be of the land of Eden? Will all be free? Here beauty is but a figment of imagery. It is a kingdom of royal decrees, and fate becomes a mockery. An enemy changes the heart of one hero. But good has plans to overcome all evil and to forgive all against them. Love triumphs, and hate breeds.
What youre expecting is not a clichd ending, but a story of the ages. Words bounce for off these pages. And faith has unsatisfying wages. Death is a foe and cannot prevail. Sink your teeth into love everlasting. For what history shows is a passage way unto the unknown.

Forever More - Steven Meyer
Chapter 1
Blood lust & Hearts Bust
Lucian: We are creatures for the division of Eden. An immortal breed of night dwellers. We again shall feed. Humans are so discontent. Yet they claim to be free? Why stay hating being able to feel? You change like the seasons. Yet you are vengeful without a reason. Reason is what blinded eyes can’t see. You lost the war and you forget that history itself reoccurs. We give no sympathy. For, we are without purpose to humans. Our craving is beyond you and me.
My name is Lucian and this is my story. I am a pale figure, hiding within the shadows. We’re the ones stalking night and alone in the light. My village stays almost vacant and out of reach. We are the remedy, that no man can stomach. But what you lack, is you are driven by fear and divided by emotions. It’s what sets them apart, like a constellation among the stars. We are pushed away. Thus, our hunger sustains our pain. We are not wicked just misunderstood.
To some we’re the bad ones. Although, others see us as good. It’s of no decision to be this way. Imagine, that you lived like us. Only then will, you grasp our reason and concept. We are the undead. The souls no one can trust. We’re a colony and the war has just begun. My father, he is against hurting humans. But when have I been humane? Human blood is pure and gives back life. To us dead, it is a taste that sends us to cloud nine. Eat if you hunger and thirst as you slumber. Those of Romania, will have no peace. We must slaughter our foes. Our faith paves the way to the unknown. The cycle keeps spinning. Welcome to the uprising. In the end, it’s us who are winning. Stalked by the shadows. For they, track every step we make. It’s for heaven’s glory that it must be this way. Predator meet your maker. Examine thy creator. Fate is like a pen to paper. Shaping our hearts into stone. Never fall away. Despair will only bring forth change. We serve and obey the master. Alas, our truth has led us to an apocalyptic disaster. Like lust for the eye, this is our tasteful lullaby.
In the end, what love holds us down? Maybe if love brought us life again. Then change would be willing. Agree to see and open your eyes. Your ignorance causes your demise. For this reason, we will destroy their minds and devour their souls. I have no hold and no master. Thus, I am my own. I give the orders but to some my purpose is profound. I crept out into the darkness. I am lurking for blood to harness. Then I would feel like a king.
Changing a mind, is hard effort. I’m no expert, except in my own path. No one stands in my way. I am, not afraid of sunlight nor the day. One night I was searching for prey. In the end, what I found had put me in utter dismay. My path would take me into a new beginning. We are sinners, who live without feeling. Ease our sorrows and surrender to better tomorrows. I found a woman, who was an easy target. At least to me. This journey, will finally set my people free. What I am about to do next, would curse me endlessly. For what I thought isn’t what was. After all, this is prophecy. Not even I, knew what I was becoming. Remember, there’s two sides to this story. We find truth in chapter 2.
Chapter 2
Drinking a New age
Lucian: This is a room, that was empty and tight. This is where I glanced at the moonlit sky; above night. The clock struck midnight and I was up. I surely needed to feed. I was wondering, whose blood I would consume? I jumped down from the roof top crashing to the ground. I waited for dinner. There I found her across the alley. She is walking with fear and hesitance. She was perfect and her beauty was beyond pleasant. I am about to give her a night that she will never forget.
Frightened and frail, I saw she was pale and timid. The light around her was surely dimming. My hunger was stronger than any human emotion. Especially upon this night. Fate will bring happiness in time. I stalked her but she was a fighter. She became all that I wanted and desired. I was ready to attack but then she fought back. Not the reaction I was hoping for. Pulling out a knife, she defended her life. But victory shall be mine. Yet, she was part of a divine plan.
Fighting, won’t affect the wanting to feed. Cravings surpass any restraint. Self-control is then pushed into the subconscious. Instincts take over temporarily. Love is the only thing that stops this. And saves us from ourselves. Her defense was quite puzzling. I pushed her onto the abandoned factory. I drained her life, as she screamed with intense fright.
Tears fell from her eyes. Shocked in horror, she remained frozen. Her fate was sealed. Temptation is a demanding pleasure. Her pain will soon be over. She was bleeding, from her neck and down to her waist. She hesitated and then fell faint. Usually I leave my victims to later be discovered. I knew that wasn’t right. After all, it was I who was hunting her. It is on this very night. Next I put her over my shoulder and carried her home. I laid her down gently. What is happening to me? I feel like a slave to mercy. Something was calling to set me free. Society will never accept us. We are the lost ones. To only thrown away within the dust.
I began fixing the bruises, that I inflicted on her. Not realizing, that I bit her from neck to bone. My power of healing is more than a hope revealing. My hands upon her wound. If not it would be her doom. I can’t let her die not so suddenly. She awoke screaming. She was probably still shocked. She must of, not realized that she was knocked out. I let her regain consciousness. I waited before I told her about what had happened. Stunned she looks at me with such hatred. She then sat up straight. But bellowed in pain. Still bleeding from her neck. I crept next to her staring in excitement. She was all but thrilled. She looked at me willingly. Her face was mortified with disgust and envy.
Erin: Shit, please leave me be. Can you see the damage that you’ve caused? Who are you and why won’t you answer me? Lucian: I glared at her entering her mind. It was as if her feelings were compromised. Guilt has dawned on me tonight. I was calmed and sighed. She jerks back. Jolting back in silence. I must have a malevolent presence. For she was confused and stuck with indifference. Her reaction was all but plentiful. I crept to her side. Shaking she was mostly terrified. She had the knife gripped into her hands. She obviously had answers to demand for. I’m not going to hurt you.
Erin: That’s not true I was attacked. Lucian: Only because you fought back. I wanted to drink your blood not spare your life. But I saved you just in time. You should be thanking me. After all, I could’ve easily left you there to die. Erin: Destiny was protecting me. Do you feel satisfied now? Now that you have left your mark? These bite marks, will leave scars. Seems I have the upper hand. Lucian: You can’t harm me even if you wanted to. You have no hold on me. Don’t patronize me woman. Erin: Your mind is clouded with delusions. It is you that will never be free. What is your plan? Why do you want me? Give me a reason.
Erin: I was so scared and yet you proceeded. I fought back in horror but then I retreated. Fiend it was you, who attacked me. Your eyes flutter with envy. Darkness has chained up your heart. This blackness will tear you apart. And I will never trust myself again. I won’t be safe alone. You followed me home. I am sure my parents are aware that I’m missing.
Lucian: Yet I let her live on and for what? Stricken with grief, she wanted answers rather quickly. What is to become of this? Surely no one was around to see, this tragic event. It was perfect there are no witnesses. But I am in a different predicament. She was innocent and pure. I brought her harm. Thus, I am stained with regret. When suffering ends bliss awaits. And we are called to take the path of fate. What was to happen next put me in a trance. It is the will of our Lord to show vengeance. Now he has given her mercy. And he seized his daughter. Therefore, no one could bring harm to her. Lucian: That daughter is you Erin. Now comes your blessings. Just be calm and listen carefully. Erin: You cornered me. You have the audacity to tell me to remain calm? We’re moving on to Chapter 3.
Chapter 3
Vampiric thoughts
Lucian: She was right. I wanted her so I attacked her on this night. Her face was flooded with fear. Yet I looked at her and started to show empathy. Lucian: I am not here to put you in danger. Erin: Can you make that a wager? This is bullshit, I won’t listen another minute. Lucian: She sprang up trying to budge me. She rushed as if in a hurry. I then looked at her and said, you mustn’t leave.
Erin: Are you going to stop me? Lucian: I am who you should fear the most.
Erin: Kidnapping is a federal crime. Lucian: Well then, let not the authorities know this time. Next I rushed up to her and grabbed her. Now kissing her cheek to give her some relief. She was so tender and very weak. I had an attraction to her. I know this so. I said dear you must not go. For I am a burdened soul and I am eternally alone. Forgive me please. It is I who should be sorry. Swear you will not leave please? Just let me in? She cocks her head back and rolls her eyes. Lucian: My name is Erin she finally said. Lucian: Pleasure to be with you tonight. She was all but coherent. As she got off the bed, she fell fainting again. I carried her back to my bed. She was finally at ease. Once more, I quickly began to feed. Her blood kept my energy up.
Lucian: But I am ashamed. What is this feeling that’s taking place? It’s like we are connected somehow. My mind was swallowed by doubt. The essence of love has placed a curse upon me. Her presence was like a soothing melody. Her body is so warm although her pulse beats in fear. It is as if fate himself has brought us to this very day. My emotions are heavily guarded. The walls I put up are crashing down. I’m caving inside and out. What oppression has befallen me?
I am holding her in comfort. In my arms, far away from harm. Erin: Where am I? Who can hear my cries now? I’m surrounded by darkness but up ahead I see a light. I walk forward into the shadows. I wandered slowly into the unknown. Here, my thoughts are cold and vacant. My body started rising and projecting in the air. In this dream voices whispered my name. I see flashes of memories. Have I been here before? I notice before me snow falling. Almost like a snowy day in December. I fell further into the darkness It is as if I have wandered into the abyss. Then he appeared out of nowhere. Except this time, I knew he was there. He stood there in front of a town, deserted and bare.
Erin: His eyes burning like embers. Temptation sparked in his eyes. Obviously my subconscious has no boundaries. I see it all replay again. Like it was me who had witnessed this all along. What I’m feeling isn’t wrong. Surely, I am correct. I knew his desires. He intended to make me his next victim. This must be something only found in fiction. I was like his drug, his little addiction. Everything around me began fading. Now I am falling deeper. Away from me and next to him. My light had turned dim. I see him watching me. He then drew closer to me. His fangs drove into my neck. I bled begging him to get off me. I start to panic. Leave me alone. Scared, I awoke from this nightmare but in my bed. I was startled by his very presence. Was this all a dream? Sweat pouring, covered my entire body. I must have been under intense stress. And everything feels like it keeps going. Circling thoughts see all. Reality is just cruel. We choose what we want to face. We hide in the shadows where lies take place. And light brings out all darkness. In the mind our subconscious hides what we try to banish.
What we try to avoid
