THE END OF SUMMER HOLIDAYS
One rainy afternoon, Kara was lazily looking out of her window. She sighed as drops of rain rolled down the window panes. Her deep, brown eyes glistened as she thought about what to do. She had blonde, straight hair and fair skin with pink lips and cheeks. Kara kept pondering, What should I do? I don’t feel like playing any games or doing anything else and it’s pouring outside like cats and dogs.
She lay back down on her bed and looked up at the ceiling of her room. Her eyes grew heavier and heavier until they closed and she fell asleep. About half an hour later, she got up. She slowly rubbed her eyes and looked out. Well, it’s not raining that much…
Kara said as her face started to glow. So, I guess I could go out!
A wide smile stretched across her face. She quickly put on her raincoat, rushed downstairs and raced towards the front door. Then, halting to a stop in front of the door she shouted so that her voice reached the room across, Mom! I’m going out. I’ll be back at about three.
Kara turned the golden knob and opened the door. She stepped outside and rain dripped all over her hair. Ugh! My umbrella,
she mumbled and stepped back in. She took off her boots, pulled out her umbrella from the umbrella stand, slipped into her wet boots again and
