My five-year-old, Ella, jumped in the car after school, excited.
‘Mummy, I need an Easter hat,’ she said. ‘There’s a parade tomorrow and the best hat gets a prize!’
‘How exciting,’ I smiled.
When we arrived home, my mum, who lived with us, heard Ella’s news.
