    Margaux looked up from her Art History book as the bus took the sharp corner and she stabilized herself. One more stop and she was home. Yawning, she closed the book. The last few pages were a blur and she couldn’t care less what Dali’s paintings were really about. Sleep was all she wanted. Wouldn’t happen until much later tonight. Paper due for Psych tomorrow and she needed to begin drafting something intelligent for her Astrobiology class to turn in next Monday, since she had to work at the cafe all weekend. Then James would want to go out both Friday and Saturday night. Her shoulders tightened. She didn’t know what to do about him.

    The bus pulled up to her stop, just as she stuffed the textbook into her backpack. She bounced down the steps, exaggerating the movement, trying to wake up. Why was she working and going to school full time? Oh yeah, so she wouldn’t be paying off student loans the rest of her life. But what the hell was she going to major in? Fall Quarter ended in three weeks and she still didn’t have a clue after five quarters at the UW. This was the beginning of her second year and her advisor was coming down hard. But she just
