About this ebook
Nate and Stacey love their great grandmother, but lately all they've done is worry about her health. Stacey decides a story is what her Nana needs to pep up her spirits.
Stacey sees an old tattered book on top of the bookcase. "This should be interesting. I don't think you've read this story in ages. I barely remember it."
Stacey begins to reads but her great grandmother takes over the story and the two siblings listen. Just before the old woman finishes the story she falls asleep.
A swoosh of air, a wicked cackle, and the book is gone.

Many thanks to Pam who helped me edit and revise this story, many, many times! Also, thank you to my writing critique group (Colorado Springs Fiction Writers Group) who have offered their support and have allowed me to practise my writing skills on them.
This tale started as a writing challenge back in 2010 and I’m excited to release the first story in a series of stories to come about this mystical antique store.

NANA’S QUEST
Nate and Stacey loved to visit their great grandmother on the weekends. When they were little, they played many games in the woods around the isolated shack. Hide and seek and skimming rocks across the small pond behind the house were their favorites.
Their mother, Sara, hated the trips to the cabin time forgot and spent as little time as possible there. Sometimes she was there just long enough for the children to exit the car and off she went down the dirt road back
