I was born in a small bustling town in the town of Springdale, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, in 1953, where life was very active for most people. As children, we had plenty of time to have fun, and we enjoyed nearly every minute of it. Even though we had a lot of freedom, there were chores and there was school, where I didn’t do so well due to being disliked by my teachers and punished often, which is what they did back then. I quit school at age fifteen in seventh grade and did odd jobs until age seventeen when I began a full-time job on a local dairy and chicken farm. After a couple of years, I left and headed for the city in another province and got into construction, which I continued to do for most of my life. Then, in 1997, while living in Eastern Ontario, I decided to go back to school to upgrade to a grade twelve equivalent and managed to do it in three months. That is when I got inspired to write this little story and have kept it tucked away until a few weeks ago when I decided to pull it out and found it interesting and maybe worth publishing so that others may enjoy reading it too.

Unto the ends of the earth Lord

Will my cry come unto Thee

Restore the joy of my Salvation

Let not Thy Spirit depart from me

Though I be found in a dry thirsty land

Where a brook is passing me by

And I can’t find a song upon my lips

To praise Thy name; most high

Hold not this charge against me Lord

Be merciful and please understand

That I cannot sing the songs of Zion

While in this God forsaken heathen land

But I set my eyes toward your Holy Mount

And my heart toward your Temple Lord

And longed again to be in Jerusalem

With your people in whom I’m adored

As I sit here weary, my soul cries out

Leave me not nor forsake me I pray

And when I have come again to my land

All my dept of praise to you I’ll repay

                        A Sinners Prayer

Dear God, I am coming to You tonight

Confessing my sin hoping to make it right

I’m sorry for all the things I have done

And for rejecting Jesus Christ, Your Son

Wash me in the blood that flowed from His side

That I may forever more with Him abide

Forgive me for all my transgressions and sin

Deliver my soul that I may be born again

Enter now I pray and cleanse my life

Wash it clean from all worldly strife

Take now this life and make it shine

A spotless vessel that is pure and fine

I have no more a desire to be my own

I am Yours now Lord and Yours alone

So I give myself over to Your will

And ask You to save my soul from hell

I ask You Lord would You now give

To me the strength I need to live

This new life You have given to me

Which will last through all eternity

This way as You know to me is new

And I’m not sure what I am to do

So teach me Lord that I may know

The right way in, which I am to go

I now thank You Lord for giving me

Your Salvation so pure and so free

Thank You Lord for helping me understand

Thanks for forgiving me in Jesus name

                        After the Rapture

After the rapture I will be with Jesus

After the rapture I will live forever more

After the rapture I will reign with Him in glory

After the rapture to that Heavenly shore

After the rapture I will see all the angels

After the rapture I will see Him on His throne

After the rapture I will behold all His glory

After the rapture to my Heavenly home

After the rapture I will meet my loved ones

After the rapture I will see all the Holy beast

After the rapture I will commune with the elders

After the rapture to that Heavenly feast

After the rapture I will walk streets of gold

After the rapture I will meet Him face to face

After the rapture I will look upon God Almighty

After the rapture of He who saved me by His grace

After the rapture I will behold that great city

After the rapture I will see the promised land

After the rapture I will truly walk with God

After the rapture when I will finally understand

After the rapture I will have all of eternity

After the rapture I will search out Gods mysteries

After the rapture I will know why on earth I live

After the rapture from this life of vanities

After the rapture I will not remember sorrows

After the rapture I will not remember the past

After the rapture I will be eternally rejoicing

After the rapture from earth to my Heavenly rest

        Because He Allows Me

You may wonder why I live this way

Denying myself for Him each day

I guess this is all that I can say

It’s because He has allowed me

There is no answer I can find

Nothing that comes into my mind

Though I seek it out from time to time

It’s because He has allowed me

It’s because He has allowed me

I now freely live my life for Him

And it is all because He loves me

That my life is saved from sin

I have searched the scriptures out

That I may find what it’s about

And all I can say without a doubt

It’s because He has allowed me

Is there not another reason why

That for someone like me He’d die

And in His word which cannot lie

Says it is all because He loves me

Then I realize how I was lost

When Jesus died upon the cross

Not that I was worth the cost

But it was all because He loved

Yes it was all because He loved me

I now have peace and joy within

And it is because He now allows me

I can freely live my life for Him

                Believe in God

Believe in God He’ll see you through

All the things you should say and do

Trust in Him for life anew

Believe in God He believes in you

O child of God trust Him today

If some fiery trial has come your way

Just believe, be faithful and pray

And everything will soon be okay

So tarry on child, be bold; be strong

He’s returning soon it won’t be long

We in a twinkling of an eye will be gone

Rejoice, take comfort in a joyful song

Meditate each day upon His word

Think upon the truths you have heard

Wear your Salvation armor be on guard

Chose the scriptures which are preferred

Call on Him any time or any where

Just call on Jesus, He’ll be there

Look to Him in fervent prayer

And He will show you He really cares

Believe in Jesus and you will be saved

Believe that He has risen from the grave

Believe He has died to pay redemptions price

Believe that He really is the Lord Jesus Christ

Believe God loves us each and everyone
