MeKsie and Co is a collection of short stories about a little fox called MeKsie and her funny friends.

MeKsie is a caring and clever little fox who lives in a beautiful forest. There is a wide glade in the forest, covered with soft, green grass. The glade always basks in the warm light of the sun. It is a perfect place for MeKsie and her friends to play their games and enjoy their life.

MeKsie is always surrounded by her three best friends – beautiful butterfly, Cutie, kind-hearted bunny, Fluffy, and wise snail, Sticky.

These four friends are always together. Each of the heroes depicts a specific trait – Fluffy, - open-heartedness, - Cutie, - easy-goingness, - Sticky – wisdom, - and MeKsie, - care. That’s why their friendship is so special and their bond is so strong.

The purpose of the book is to show children that it is important to develop such traits of character as: responsiveness, kind-heartedness, love, respect and readiness to help and to protect those you care about. MeKsie and her friends are always ready to help each other. This underlines the main idea of the book – true friends are worth a fortune!

The four heroes sometimes travel through the forest and meet other animals who become their new friends. It doesn’t matter who you are - a hedgehog, a snail, a caterpillar, or an owl – if you possess a kind heart - you attract only goodness into your life!

It’s true
