The streets are the battle field

But it’s the same place the children play

Now if you’re really hardcore soldiers

Can’t you find a better way?

Let’s make rules of engagement

So our children are not involved

And like it’s done in prison

The leaders discuss it until it’s solved

And can’t we find a common enemy

One that’s a danger to us all

My vote is we unite against satan

And we all give Jesus a call

Stop and think about it for a moment

There is knowledge in what I say

Because if you’re not on the side of God

Then you’re fighting the other way

A Confused State

Maybe you don’t know about the battle

Well let me put this in your ear

This war has been going on for ages

So I want Gods message to be clear

There’s an internal battle raging

And we’re fighting for our souls

So strengthen up your faith

Because it’s Gods word you must uphold

Watch out for confusion

It’s a weapon satan loves to use

To scramble up your thoughts

So Gods message you will lose

Then he’ll try you with temptations

Because in a confused state you might give in

Then send you down a road

Led by someone you thought a friend

So never stop your praying

Include the Lord in what you do

Because the pressure will never stop

Satan will always be after you

I’m a knight in Gods army

And in this ongoing fight

God has brought me into contact

With others whom He has also given sight

And we may all have a different vision
